WHMCS not charging customers

I use Cdgcommerce and it is charging some customers automatically but it is not charging others. I have a continued issue, it seems that WHMCS says "Credit Card Payment Failed" for our clients however when I login and manually click the capture button it works jiust fine. I then look at the CC log and I find no previous attempts to charge their card. I fear we are losing a lot of money because this is happening, oddly enough it will go on and suspend/terminate their account and most of the clients don't even know. The only cases I have been able to document are the 3 or so we get a day where clients ask why their account was suspended and we are able to login and manually charge their card. Why is WHMCS not passing these to clients and requires us to manually charge clients? Anybody have this same issue?

Are the accounts imported from another system? I have seen this problem when accounts have been imported into WHMCS from other systems (like AWBS).

In general, for WHMCS originated stuff its very robust when it comes to charging and getting payments.

Have you checked the logs?

Billing > Transactions

Utilities > Activity Logs

Wow, we'll I'm $2,000 richer after manually charging all the errored out transactions and can't imagine how many clients I lost before this because they canceled or didn't bother to pay after the failure to charge them. I contacted cdgcommerce and will wait for their reply but an error code like that is bull*** to say the least, the amount of money I lost because of "too many attempts please come back later" is likely mind boggling.

It works when I click the attempt capture button sometimes. Sometimes it doesn't and I will check the gateway log and the transaction won't exist. I am then able to manually charge the client in the gateway. This is a serious problem that has me considering cdgcommerce
