fxturn
Hi, I want know how I can control my email sending rate in "Mass Mail Tools" in my WHMCS. I think it sends one email per second. I like reduce that and set for example one email per minutes. I have some limitation in my hosting and it not allows me send more 50 emails per hour. Is there any solution for that? sohouk
I recall that WHMCS has a limit on both the number and frequency of emails being sent out. It’s something like 30 every 30 seconds. I do not know how this is changed, or indeed if its sensible to change it. However, you may come across a block on your server which is usually set to limit emails for domains. 50 would be very low. Usually anything 100-500 would be a normal figure. If you are using WHM then the amount of emails allowed per hour is set in the the WHM control panel: WHM > Tweak Settings > Mail dialog. If you are sending out lots of stuff regularly, then you may be better off using a commercial service like MailChimp if only to avoid any risk of your server being blacklisted. If you're using a reseller account it wouldn't be possible to change this setting as it's determined for the whole server. Jack
sohouk
To avoid any confusion: WHMCS is the Web Hosting Manager's Complete Solution package we all know and love WHM is Web Host Manager, a different, separate program entirely and is used for web-hosting servers Trevor
