i need exclude some clients from invoices

Hi guys,

 

I need exclude some clients from generating invoices - those are friends and my family where I dont want to invoice to be genreated for them or at least have separate invoices for them apart of other client invoices Is this posible ?

Under the client "Product/Services" tab, change the Billing Cycle to free.

I am not too sure you can prevent invoices being generated because that would undermine a key component of WHMCS.

 

If you do not want friends and family to receive invoices, then the only way I can see is to create an additional user for the account and make sure that the email options exclude the user from receiving or viewing Invoices.

 

Admin > Contacts > Add New

This would allow invoices to be generated, but they will not get the emails.

 

Further to that, you can prevent viewing of the invoices by making sure the Permissions are removed. On the same dialog:

 

Permissions > View & Pay Invoices

 

So, using those two options would effectively hide invoices from those additional users.

 

You can also limit other types of emails and viewing options from the additional user interface.

 

Emails you can prevent the user receiving.
