Come on guys, keep it civil.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments regarding the V4.5 additions & changes.

Re the templates, as always we try to keep the adjustments to existing templates to a minimum but as others have mentioned, if there were no template changes you would have no new features so we have to find a balance. Updating them is not difficult though - a few people like to complain that it is, but even with a lot of customisations, take a few minutes and use a file comparison program to compare your custom files with the new ones, and upgrading is still pretty easy - especially as we provide an exact list of the changed files for each release in the release notes.

It started off with a simple, half-joking, tongue-in-cheek comment. There always seems to be someone in this forum who's not here to add to the conversation, but has something to prove....or a lot of time on their hands. Or both.

I do understand sometimes template changes are necessary. I disagree that updating them is not hard and it takes a lot longer than "a few minutes." I appreciate the list of templates changed, that does help.

Its not hard. I updated over a hundred of them when 4.4 first came out.

Granted if you almost completely redid your whmcs templates like i did on my site it may take a little longer but if you know what your doing it's not that bad.

(ps ... please don't snipe at me for not agreeing with you :P )

Hello,

What is the procedure for testing the whmcs 4.5, we're working on it for 1 year, and now we're in the final release of our hosting company, we would like to test our team of developers with the 4.5 beta to see if it will be included in our project

Thankyou
