lightbeing creations
I've just tried to cancel and refund a service from within WHMCS and get the error: Order Cancel & Refund FailedThe refund attempt has failed. Please check the Gateway Log for more information Can someone tell me where the Gateway Log is as under the Utilities menu there's several logs mentioned, but nothing that relates to the gateway?
D-Litz
Look under the billing tab... Also, was the refund via a credit card transaction? If so, you cant refund a credit card via WHMCS until all your credit card transactions for the day have been cleared at your gateway. You can however log into your gateway and cancel the transaction and then mark it as refunded in WHMCS, but if you want it automated, you have to wait at least 12 to 24 hours before you can use the automated WHMCS refund.
lightbeing creations
Ah, didn't think to look somewhere other than with those logs! Thanks. It's a Paypal payment/refund and the gist of the message is: L_SHORTMESSAGE0 => Authentication/Authorization FailedL_LONGMESSAGE0 => You do not have permissions to make this API call L_SEVERITYCODE0 => Error Which is odd as I'm able to accept money fine via Paypal. I guess there's something that needs turning on or altering, either within WHMCs or Paypal. Any suggestions?
