What's the best way to use WHMCS for a Design Firm?

Our firm needs a way to have internal tasks/discussions on each client

 

For example, our client asks our team to work on a billable item - our team wants to keep internal notes on progress, assignments, etc

 

The To-Do list seems insufficient for this (you can't associate tasks with a client, and the description box is just a single line textbox)

 

Creating Tickets without e-mail addresses, or trying to do this through Admin Notes is messy and seems like a hack job

 

What's the best way of doing this with WHMCS?

I haven't used it, so have no idea if it's worth investing in, but it's there.

 

Apart from that, you would need an external application to do this properly.

I use activeCollab for project management. Has all the features you could want. You can invoice through it or use WHMCS to send invoices. Great project management software, more than what you would find with a module for whmcs.
