Proteus
I have been trying to figure out how to automate the creation of a client's account once the payment has been received/processed. Searching through this forum I found this: http://whmcs.com/tutorials.php?i=1 Essentially it shows the copying of the cron job from WHMCS to cPanel. However, I have a question before I try this. I copy the cron job to my reseller cPanel and this will work for all my new clients? Seems odd. Am I understanding this correctly?
allenb
If your account with one whmcs this only work on yours build other cpanel / resellers But if you have more then 1 whmcs means you will have to tell it by new corn job.
zomex
Hello Proteus, The cron job you're referring to simply runs a script in WHMCS with carries out tasks to your configuration in setup > automation settings. This in no way does/needs to connect to your clients cPanel accounts as WHMCS connects with WHM specifically to perform tasks on clients cPanel accounts. Meaning the cron job only has to be set in your cPanel accounts. Jack
