problue
Hi, Been using WHMCS for a while, setup a new server and getting "CURL Error: 28 - connect() timed out!" error when setting up new accounts. Firewall on the server isn't blocking the request, username, password, IP address, server type in the server setup are all correct (checked several times). 'Tick to use SSL Mode for Connections' - tried both ticked and not ticked Server is Plesk. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks.
WHMCS Guy
Hello, Please see the following reasons why you might be receiving the Curl error; -Server too busy dealing with other requests -Server taking more than 150 seconds to provision the account -Server site IP address does not match the WHM server details -Server doesn't exist Things you might need to check are the following; -Firewall on your server blocking the requests from WHMCS -Enabling SSL mode on your servers by going to Setup > Servers > Edit. Regards, Guy WHMCS Support
problue
Hi, Thanks for the reply. I checked all of the above and searched for answers before I posted this. The problem isn't anything you have listed. So any other ideas why it isn't working?
NetworkOfHosting.com
Having the same problem. Was not until I upgraded to 4.5 Did you fix your problem, if so, how? I have an issue thats about 2 months old and whmcs support is not helping me (and I pay for support), I'm not confident with opening a ticket. We're getting this: We have not changed anything. The following cpanel accounts/domains are getting these errors: For cpanel account: a007a (blahblahes.com) Most important: Provisioning with Virtualmin at 116.38.16.10 - This is has always worked and it is critical that it is fixed: Module Command Error Curl Error: 28 - connect() timed out! NetworkOfHosting.com
Well, for resellerclub, under settings> API, I've made sure that our whmcs installation's server IP is in the API list, and now I'm waiting for the 30 mins to elapse. We'll see if that fixes that. For the other problem, I'm being asked what port whmcs is calling out to virtualmin on to make sure its not blocked by the firewall. Anyone know the port/s?
NetworkOfHosting.com
It was the firewall...
