Proteus
I am new to WHMCS and hosting in general. I have recently set up a re-seller account, and I have had a client register and all that good stuff. He registered properly, and when I check his profile, under 'Clients Profile -> Products/Services' in WHMCS I see that his domain is 'themisst.org', which is correct. However, when I go to 'Clients Profile -> Domains' it says 'No domains found for this user.' What have I done wrong? The server seems to be configured. My domain is http://www.nvmhosting.com, and my server settings are as follows: Hostname: nvmhosting.com IP address and Nameservers are right. Help!!!!!
Alistair
Is the order pending?
scurrell
Did he actually order a domain registration/transfer? The Domains section only shows client domains that have been registered with, or transferred to you.
Proteus
Maybe I shouldn't say anything, because I will surely end up looking like an ass ... I was under the impression that once an account was approved in WHMCS everything else was on 'auto-pilot'. Turns out I also have to set things up in WHM (ie. create an account). I don't want to sound like an a$$hole, but why isn't this stuff integrated? Is it that difficult to set this up? (Everything worked once I set the account up in WHM, btw). Or maybe I'm just too much of a noob and there is something that auto-magically handles everything?!? To me, this makes sense: - take order - process payment - if payment is approved: - create an account - send user a welcome email - voila! instant access! No fuss, no muss! Any pointers for a noob? I can't believe that I have to deal with WHM, WHMCS, and cPanel for all this stuff.

If a business was this easy to run everyone would be doing it. This simply gives you an advantage because not everyone IS doing it.

For example I set web hosting accounts to setup automatically once the payment is received but I don't with domain names. Even with the web hosting side automated I still manually review each order that makes it past Maxmind. (Everything worked once I set the account up in WHM, btw). It sounds like you have something mis-configured. Feel free to send me a PM and I'll be happy to take a look for you free of charge.
