iPhone
Hello, If I use NEO, they offer free private WHOIS with every domain registration. Since I'll be offering customers private WHOIS at a small price, will WHMCS tell NEO to only apply the private WHOIS if the customer actually ordered it? Is that possible? Thanks.

JFSG
Go to: https://www.domain.tld/whmcs/admin/configdomains.php or whatever URL you install WHMCS on and go to /admin/configdomains.php. You can charge a price for DNS Management, Email Forwarding and ID Protection there.

Chances are he already set this up since he's charging a small fee for this feature. He wanted to know whether NE automatically applies the domain protection, or if WHMCS instructs NEO to apply it, upon the client paying for the feature in WHMCS
apsmike
Under registrar options there is feature where you can set the clients details for the domain registrant information but for domain protection, no WHMCS does not applies it. These settings are set by the registrar of the domain. Settings like privacy protection, Domain status etc are not set by WHMCS but by the domain registrar configured in WHMCS. WHMCS does not even pass any kind of parameter to registrar to make registrar know about this settings. These settings should be set in the domain registrar panel.

easyhosting
Exactly this. Is this possible? Contact Chris at NEO direct he will be able to answer this better than anyone on this forum, unless chris reads this as he is an active member
othellotech
It applies it if the option on the orderform is selected.
netearth
My understanding of the WHMCS "NEO" module is that if the customer selects it on registration (if it is ticked in the setup >> domain pricing page) WHMCS applies it at registration.
