I too didn't see the post policy (my bad) when I first joined the forums.

 

But, the current policy is perfectly fine, and surely helps fight against rogue posts and spam.

before you were here, we had a lot of people posting links to porn as their first post, something was needed and the 15 post was the solution. It is a pain for new people, but having all that porn in the forums was much more of a pain.
