CrimsonGT
Hi, Our company has a client who is creating contacts on his account so that they can submit support tickets as well. He has requested that we find some way to make his personal information hidden from these contacts. In the end, I just wound up removing his personal details from the file, but he has now requested his paid invoices and old support tickets be removed as well so that they cannot be seen either. So is there some way just to hide this information from sub-accounts/contacts made on the users account? I really have no idea why all of this is visible to them.
panacheweb
you can assign them certain rights for each user profile. impo you should not be removing any clients information from your database, you may need it in the event of some legal issue. You can set permissions in the contacts tab, you have 11 options to set for each contact. You can assign them only to send or view support tickets, or just see the invoices and pay them, or even place new orders. Take a look at the latest version if you do not have it installed.. if you do all these options are available. There are more options on the Admin side then the user side. I just looked. You should setup actual accounts for the 3rd parties, not give them access to his "butchered" account.
