openmind
Yeh I go this to. I'm fairly sure it has something to do with the encoding but I don't recall what it is...

stormy
Same here. The update information in iTunes mentioned the need to update API files, but I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere in the site.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 10, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 10, 2011 Hi, This is indeed an issue related to the charset/encoding of characters. As some of you will have experienced in the past, when the iphone app gets a character outside of the regular charset it often crashes. Those can come from emails that create tickets, or from changing the system charset at some point in time. This was the iphone xml interpreter itself that was crashing so in the latest update we tried to implement some workarounds to handle that better, but it has led to some other encoding issues though for native utf-8 data so we're gonna push another update to Apple this afternoon which should hopefully resolve those. As soon as they approve it, it will be available to update to via the app store. We'll be posting an announcement for the release along with the updated API files shortly.
