apollo1
I had a recent case where a client ordered a .ca domain and selected ID protect. But eNom doesn't allow you to add ID Protect to .ca domains. I had incorrectly set WHMCS to offer ID Protect on this TLD in the domain pricing setup. I caught this ahead of time and corrected the order, but I am wondering what would have happened if I didn't. Would the order go through and charge customer the amount I specified for ID Protect, or would WHMCS detect that eNom doesn't provide ID Protect on this domain and adjust itself accordingly? Which brings me to my next question -- is there any way to find out which domains eNom (or ResellerClub) does NOT offer ID protect on? I heard that eNom doesn't offer ID protection on .us names either. Thanks.
othellotech
it would charge the client, then fail to setup whois protection

scurrell
At eNom, ID Protect: Supported Domain Extensions (TLDs). Or, to put it more simply: .ASIA .BIZ .COM .INFO .MOBI .NAME .NET .ORG .PRO
apollo1
Othello - Thanks for confirming, that's what I was afraid of. James & Scurrell - that's excellent, thank you! Well at least I can go in and select IP protection on those domains only, so that will clear up the confusion and make things much easier.
