Reseller account setup fail, no welcome mail sent

Hi,

 

I bought a alpha reseller package from turnkey internet last month, it comes with Zamfoo. I want to sell reseller plans so i set auto grant under WHM accounts, tested it in WHM and everything was working fine. I want WHMCS to create account automatically, i made a new product and enter the package name as user_packagename and i did not type in anything for the other fields, i selected it to send a reseller welcome mail once its created. When clients place an order, WHMCS creates the account on WHM it sents a mail telling me that the set up has failed. the error listed there was Error: An unknown error occurred. But the werid thing is that the account has been setup. But there is no welcome mail sent to the client. Please help me

WHMCS only works to create "real" reseller accounts on WHM/CPanel servers (and VPS), not "fake" reselller accounts with the various 3rd party software "hacks" that try to get around the inner workings of cpanel.

You will need to cancel your "alpha whatever" and get a VPS or Dedicated Server.

this should work with an Alpha reseller account, but i do agree with Othellotech. A VPS is a better option than an Alpha and will not cost that much more for a managed VPS with cpanel. take a look at WHT
