Adamski
Im just testing google checkout in Sandbox mode and I get this error: The currency used in the cart must match the currency of the seller account. You supplied a cart with USD and the seller account is associated with GBP. Can anyone advise how to change this. The invoice I'm trying to pay is in GBP, I do have sandbox ticked in payment gateways and have the correct merchant id and merchant key. Thanks, Adam [edit] Have just tried in live environment and it also comes up with this error [/edit]
CSNM-Carl
AFAIK Google Checkout in WHMCS is US only.

Adamski
bithosts - they are working on it and tested it at the moment but not firm date for a realease yet! Ad
bithosts
I looked at the XML that was sent to google - all it looks like to me is the ability to make a three letter change from USD to whatever - in my case GBP.
Vectoral
I'm waiting for this too, NoChex has the same bug. Basically we need currency conversion activated on NoChex + Google Checkout for people that sell with USD ($) as NoChex only accepts payments in GBP and Google Checkout only accepts payments in the accounts main currency (GBP for me, unchangeable!)
bithosts
Thats interesting - I want to accept GBP and that should be my main currency (i think) but google complains that it receives a feed stating USD. Noob question but just to make sure - where would i make sure that the main currency is GBP?

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted May 21, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted May 21, 2007 Google Checkout is being made available in the next release Correction: Google Checkout UK is being made available in the next release. The Google Checkout US module is already in WHMCS and working perfectly - has been for a few months now. Matt

The Google Checkout US module is already in WHMCS and working perfectly - has been for a few months now. Matt What callback method are we supposed to use, XML or HTML? Does that make a difference as far as WHMCS is concerned? I've verified my vendor ID is correct, yet when I try to test Google checkout with a test account, I get an error message "No seller found with id XXXX." EDIT: Found the problem! I have "sandbox mode" checked, thinking that was a testing mode. I unchecked it and now Google Checkout works perfectly! Yahhhhh...something got fixed today! (Suggestion to Matt, might be a good idea to document somewhere what "sandbox mode" is.) Leaving this post here in case anyone else is having the same problem.
Adamski
Sandbox mode is Google test mode. If you signup for a sandbox account you get different details to put into WHMCS. Callback method is XML just to confirm.

I'm just hesitant to change anything now that I have it working, finally
