direcisync.php CRON = excessive resources

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

question about direcisync.php cron file, it seems to run very hard and long.. 18151447 Seconds on average which is incredibly long for a script to run..

I'm curious if this is intentional based on the amount of work that the script needs to perform, or if it can be optimized? Would it be a file i could get my hands on to try to optimize it myself? Just seems to make my servers run and use excessive resources.

Let me know your guys thoughts, or if i could be Private messaged the file so i could make a more streamlined version.. i would post it back t the community.

Thanks

I'd say that's a long time alright; 18151447 seconds is approximately 7 months... Wow!

As to the actual issue though, how many domains do have to sync? Myself, I have noticed that ResellerClub has been getting slower by the day. It took, quite literally, minutes for a registration to process earlier today when I registered the domain through the admin interface; I thought that it was going to timeout, but then it finally said that it was successful.
