APC and Raritan Power Control Module/Extension now available

Recommended Posts

This add-on module allows you and your clients to control the power supply to their dedicated servers, colocated servers, devices etc, if connected through an APC Switchable PDU or Raritan Switchable PDU

It allows for:

power-on (fantastic if you use PXE boot to do inital installs)

power-off

reboot

on APC and Raritan

And power-draw figures also on Raritans

- £125 setup (initial licence fee) + £25/year (for fixes and updates)

Setup includes FTP upload and Installation (recommended), but most WHMCS users have grasped how to create a directory, update a firewall rule, make a mysql db file, edit a config file and test it - we will provide instructions if you want to do it yourself :)

So £150(+vat) year 1, £25(+vat) after that - will continue to work if you dont renew the licence *and* is unencrypted so you can extend it and verify there are no security holes.

There are some additional reports and features coming later in the year to allow those with datacentres and suites to manage and report on their footprint/rack power-draw and some graphing/statistics - ETA is *End-December* for the next release.

Screen shots to follow and a test login to our WHMCS is available on request to see it in the client area ... post to the thread and I'll PM you the login.
