Branding

You currently cannot rebrand the admin login page if you have an unbranded license as the powered by line works in this way according to the license applied to that installation. If you need any more information then let me know

This has been discussed several times. De-branding once logged in to any of the admin areas would be useless as there are other links that would give it away if you are trying to hide it from operators...for instance all the help links, it would require quite a bit to try to make sure all was hidden

h4f, it clearly states on that site:

"No Branding - This removes the "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" at the bottom of each page."

The words "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" only appear in the client area, so it does clearly state that it's only removing that line and nothing from the admin area.

Hi,

I just wanna have a little input into this. Maybe the words could be changed a little, as they are slightly mis-leading. It says..

- No Branding Displayed in the Client Area

Client Area is the key word here. The client area to me is the area, which only the clients see. (only clients being the key word there)

However this is not the case, the WHM Complete Solution is shown at the bottom of every page regardless of weather the viewee is a client or not (again client being the key word)

"No Branding - This removes the "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" at the bottom of each page." - I actually don't see this anywhere, it may be there, but maybe it just isn't prominant enough?

I don't have much of a problem with it like this, but I would prefer it if it was just client area's which showed the slogan.

Just a point to note, because the way that is written it may lead some to believe what I thought.

Maybe consider changing that a bit

I've read this about 5 times and I still don't understand what you're trying to say.

CLIENT AREA = WHERE YOUR CLIENTS LOGIN TO VIEW ACCOUNT INFO

ADMIN AREA = WHERE YOU LOGIN TO VIEW STATS ON PAYMENTS, ORDERS, CLIENT DETAILS.

Now....is that portion clear? If not please refer back to the top of my post and try again.

If so...if you purchased your WHMCS license from another reseller and it did not state the Branding Fee was removed only from the CLIENT AREA (SEE ABOVE FOR MEANING) then you need to consult with them as this site has always stated that the branding was removed from CLIENT AREA.

So, with that said it is safe to assume that the BRANDING will not be removed from the ADMIN AREA (SEE ABOVE) and that this type of thread is pointless. I hate coming to this forum and seeing that members are always complaining about the fact it states that you purchased 1 thing and cry about it after the fact. I am sure no clients will leave you because they logged in and found that you did not really spend numerous nights coding a solution for you hosting company, and in fact spent money to purchase one that was built. I mean...come on people. If this is all you have to talk about then I feel sorry for everyone of you. Does the fact that it states WHMCS in the ADMIN AREA actually hender your business this much that you have to come to the forum and cry, complain, gripe, and get upset about it?

Better yet...how many of you actually read the full description, term, and policy of what you buy? Are you trying to take credit for something you did not do? What is so upsetting that you have to come to the forum and complain about the branding?

I am leaving this open for a bit longer because I wish to know the answer. However, this thread is pointless and may be closed without warning.

Greg, this is only if you pay for it to be removed. Powered by WHMCompleteSolution removed from the WHMCS client frontend (aka, anythign that is templated) if you purchase it the No Branding. If you dont purchase it, it will appear on each page. Does that make more sense?
