chrismfz
When I am trying to whois a domain from client side or admin side it doesn't matter like .gr .es .tk .co.za .za.net etc I get no output. More specific, in includes/whoisserves.php every TLD which has this URL format: .co.za|http://whois.co.za/cgi-bin/whois.sh?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-No Matches .org.za|http://org.za/cgi-bin/rwhois?format=full&domain=|HTTPREQUEST-Domain not registered .tk|https://partners.nic.tk/cgi-bin/whmcs-whois.taloha?d=|HTTPREQUEST-has no matches .es|http://www.realtimeregister.com/page/whois_check.php?domein=|HTTPREQUEST-es available .com.ph|http://www.domains.ph/WhoIs.asp?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-no match .net.ph|http://www.domains.ph/WhoIs.asp?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-no match .org.ph|http://www.domains.ph/WhoIs.asp?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-no match .ngo.ph|http://www.domains.ph/WhoIs.asp?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-no match .ph|http://www.domains.ph/WhoIs.asp?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-no match .za.net|http://www.za.net/cgi-bin/whois.cgi?domain=|HTTPREQUEST-No such domain .za.org|http://www.za.net/cgi-bin/whois.cgi?domain=|HTTPREQUEST-No such domain it doesn't work. I get an empty output. Does anyone has the same problem with those TLD's ? Any other TLD's with normal whois servers like .com|whois.crsnic.net|No match for .net|whois.crsnic.net|No match for .org|whois.publicinterestregistry.net|NOT FOUND .co.uk|whois.nic.uk|No match they are working.
chrismfz
Someone with 4.3 please take a look if you can whois domains ending with tld like .es .co.za .tk etc... Support didn't respond for 12+ hours and I don't know if it is a general 4.3 bug or its just me
ljesh
I have similar issue since 4.3 with another TLD (.mk) The whois check is not in the whoisservers.php but I have added it manually for that TLD. Until 4.2 used to work perfect, now for every domain with .mk extension it says the domain is already taken (which ofcourse, isn't the case). .com, .net.... whois works good. Opened support ticket, will see how it goes from there.
webio
I'm having similar issue with my WHOIS response. I'm also using custom whois server provided by my registrar. Have you received reply for your ticket?
ljesh
Yes, they sent me a new whoisfunctions.php and it works from then. Will try to upload it (though, I don't know if I am allowed to do so )

webio
Ok I have updated whoisfunctions.php and it looks ok for registration but for transferring .com domains I'm stil getting Unavailable status. Can someone confirm the same problem during omain transfer action? EDIT: I've also noticed that after replacing whoisfunctions.php file I can enter google.com for registration and WHMCS states that this domain is available. I'm using default WHOIS server for .com TLD. EDIT2: This is quite interesting because even when I set custom WHOIS server for .com TLD and I know that this custom WHOIS server is returning that this domain is unavailable WHMCS is anyway returning that this domain is available for registration.
