laszlof
I have a couple new modules in the pipeline that are just about finished. 1) WHMCS Reseller - allows you to resell WHMCS licenses through your own website. Includes the ability for your clients to reissue their licenses. Currently only supports providing them for FREE, but I plan on adding the ability to charge for them as well. 2) Regional Promotions - Allows you to set region (postal code, country, city, state) restrictions on promotion codes The first one is pretty much done, the second is in bug busting phase. Anyone interested?
easyhosting
you need to be a WHMCS licenced reseller to resell WHMCS licences
laszlof
Nice to know. I assume that doesn't including giving them away for free with hosting accounts.
easyhosting
Nice to know. I assume that doesn't including giving them away for free with hosting accounts. Hi yes it does, to issue WHMCS licences (either reselling or giving WHMCS away with hosting plans) you must be a licenced reseller through WHMCS. How can you give this away with a hosting plan without having a valid WHMCS licence to give with the software. easyhosting
you need to be a reseller to get licences to issue to your clients http://www.whmcs.com/resellers.php
laszlof
K. that still doesn't make this module any less useful for such resellers
easyhosting
but your state "allows you to resell WHMCS licenses through your own website" which would meany anyone can go to the site and order WHMCS and nothing else, but even resellers cant do this "As a standard reseller you are only permitted to sell to your own customers." and to reissue a licence you have to do this through WHMCS cleint area
laszlof
In its current design, its not mean't to work that way, basically it would be only for providing free (value-added service) licenses for existing clients or new hosting clients. You would have to already own a block of licenses in order to resell them as part of your hosting services. This module just gives you an easy to use interface within your own WHMCS installation, and gives your clients the ability to reissue their own licenses without having to open a support ticket with you.
laszlof
Heres a few screenshots. The first 2 are from the admin interface, the last is from the client area.
easyhosting
then i suggest you consult Matt or John to see if they approve. I currently just offer my clients WHMCS through their affiliate scheme and i also have a WHMCS aff link on my website which works perfect and you are not restricted to just offering WHMCS to your own clients.
