is whmcs expandable

i want to purchase whmcs, please tell me if later i can expand in the functionality and i can edit the code and customize it?

Your question is very general and in alot of cases difficult to answer. WHMCS is customisable in alot of ways for instance layout and templates. Functionality can be achieved through action hooks and the API system.

 

If Im being honest the best way of you assesing it and having a look is to order a trial license which will give you full functionality and allow you to look at what code is and is not encoded.

 

The script is not open source and alot is encoded but with a little clever thinking and dependant upon what you want to achieve in terms of "expanding" it there are lots of options and help available on the forums.
