nzinside
It's good to see the module included in the new version. But I wonder why it requires a RegisterFly User ID to utilise PlanetDomain Account. Below is copied from the new Admin Screen. Username Your PlanetDomains Username Password Your PlanetDomains Password ResellerID Your RegisterFly User ID TestMode
ozzie
Hey, I would suggest that it should be your PD reseller id. What confuses me a bit is the testmode in your message. I have not loaded 3.1 yet, but I do know that Planetdomain has NOT got a testmode for their API. Instead you have to delete any test domains that you create within three days. Maybe it's a leftover from the Registerfly module as well? (Matt, could you please comment) Cheers, Ozzie
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 27, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 27, 2007 I don't think Reseller ID is required but will check and then confirm here. As for test mode, yes, there is a test mode with PlanetDomains - they have a dedicated testing server and this setting will direct calls to the test server. Maybe it's not openly available? ozzie
From the Planetdomain API page: Please note there currently is no test server environment. You should delete all test domains within 3 days of registration to be fully refunded Well, if it is there it would be nice I suppose. WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 27, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 27, 2007 Yes, their page must be out of date as it does exist and work. I've now checked and the Reseller ID is a required item and you should enter your planetdomains reseller id into the field.
