Skeptical
Is there a way to perform custom permissions depending on staff? I have sales staff that need access to the WHMCS backend, but I'd prefer they only have access to information of clients that belong to them, and nobody else. Is it possible to develop this as an addon if no such feature exists?
zomex
Hello, You can find this option under: Setup > Administrator Roles Simply create a new Administrator Role for your sales staff. Regards, Jack
Skeptical
That doesn't solve my problem. What I want is certain staff to have access to view certain client info. For instance, user A can view clients 1, 5, 239, 234, and that's it. If he tries to view other clients he will be met with a permissions error.

Skeptical
Yeah I know. But is it possible to develop this based on the API? If not, I'm thinking the other option is to create a separate proxy-type application that loads the real WHMCS and filters based on a white and black list url variables?
mylove4life
you more than likey would have to add a new item in the data base, like user id for that client and do an if else statement...
