ivanrk
I think domain sychronisation script changes .eu domain expiration date to the last day of the month - this may be technically correct but leaves many .eu domains expiring and people pay 60 USD for restoration. Because many people setup due date to be expiration date in WHMCS. But actually if you want to pay on due date it is too late - the domain is expired

arctic-ice-cool
but doesn't that mean that if the customer doesn't update or renew the domain through you, you have paid for that domain then? Thanks
scurrell
but doesn't that mean that if the customer doesn't update or renew the domain through you, you have paid for that domain then? Yes. So we set the registrar to "Email" in WHMCS, and set the next due date to a couple of weeks before the auto-renew.

Thanks for the reply. When you set the registrar to Emai, is that simply setting it to no registrar, and it just sends the client an e-mail at the next due date? Thanks

It generates the invoice as normal, but doesn't send a renewal request to a registrar.
