OnTarget600
Hello, I am interested in recommendations for good value merchant facilities. Hosting and Domain sales are a value add to my business so a company geared to low volume would be preferable. Thank you in advance.
striddy
If low volume, then use Paypal.
OnTarget600
Unfortunately paypal is out as I have had issues with them in the past.
harrip
You could look at Worldpay as they service Australia.
Austdata
Not at $430 a year and 3.95% on each transaction, PayPal is cheaper than that. Paymate is cheaper than that too but quite as cheap as PayPal. If you have a merchant account, eWay may be worth a look.
brianoz
eway is a good option, but probably not cheaper. It's far more professional and the money is in your account the next day though.
broadway
eway and securepay are quite good...
hpwall
I agree with broadway, securepay is really good and a fair bit cheaper that eway. They also have flexible payment plans so you can pre-pay or pay by transaction. More details in this newer thread, this old one should probably be closed: http://forums.whmcs.com/showthread.php?7022-Which-Payment-Gateway-do-you-use-in-Australia&p=288863#post288863
kurieuo
I use Commonwealth Bank's Evolve: http://www.commbank.com.au/business/merchant-services/payment-options/payments-and-orders.html Not technically a mechant gateway though I guess, as it is not hooked up via WHMCS. Customers submit their credit card numbers and then I enter it into the Commonwealth website. A little bit manual, but I don't get many credit card transactions... most pay direct debit.
