Special Reseller Pricing

Hi we need to offer special reseller pricing for same product.

 

Let's say you have a product offered to the general public for $30. We need to be able to offer the same product to at $15 to resellers.

 

Is this possible and and can it be done without duplication. I read somewhere that you can make hidden products, but that defeats the purpose, since the reseller wouldn't be able to see the product.

This can be done by having a "50%off" coupon form those products. Thats how we're getting round having direct and reseller pricing models

That's a horrible way of doing it. Resale and wholesale are not discounts.

 

We would need to be able to for instance extend the table with a reseller/wholesale cost, and provide a group for these two, with their special pricing and also offer products not available to the general public... preferably without resorting to coupon usage nor hidden products.

 

Actually, to reiterate the question more clearly, can WHMCS support user groups and specific pricing for members of these groups, and is this planned in the future if not currently supported?

Your some what wrong. You can make the product hidden from the order form, but Resellers would can still access it by a direct URL. So if you are not going to use discounts, then make a new product and mark it $15 or what ever your selling price is.

 

Make that product hidden and give our UR(s) to your resellers to sign up.

This is already what in the system. All you have to do is duplicate the product and make it hidden and give the direct URL to your resellers/wholesalers.
