Installation Issues (Critical Error: Could not connect to the database)

I've been trying to install this all day with no success. I contacted my hosting company to see if there was a database issue and they said everything is fine and it should work. <<removed>>is the website. I was curious what I am doing wrong? I have a separate database set-up already for this to be on.

You haven't installed it yet. Add "/install/install.php" to the end of that link (I've removed it from your post, so no one messes with it) and follow the instructions.
