Beta? there is a current version out now - not sure why anyone would want push notifications, that just seems lazy to me, after all for all the notifications would be be getting via push you already get an email from whmcs, so best just having your email go to your iphone

Hi,

The issue with doing push notifications is that there has to be a server initiating the push's. Normally you see that kind of thing where apps are run from a specific server, like a hosted software solution, but with WHMCS which is distributed on your own server, it would require setting up your own server as the push notification server. It's certainly something we'd like to implement but not sure if it would be possible atm.

Hi Matt,

I just ordered the iWHMCS app, and have been using it for a few minutes. My overall impressions are that it is a pretty good app, although it definitely has some stability problems. I'll make a separate thread of usability suggestions after I've played with it for a while.

I think it definitely needs push to warrant the price otherwise I can make a slimmed down admin area for iPhone and use Safari. Saying that the normal admin area works fine through iPhone.

Id be happy to help out with testing of push notifications - although hosted on our own severs WHMCS is still a hosted product.
