  1. Ah thank you, as I only use paypal that wont be a issue. Thank you. I not too concerned about clients passwords matching in whmcs with whm as I prefer them to change them to a password of their own once they've logged in.
  2. I believe I kept the new configuration file and copied across my iPhone APi key
  3. I've recently moved my site from one server/domain to another server and domain name. I moved the database across by doing a SQL import in phpmyadmin and then altered the admin to account for new domain and email addresses. A few days ago a Enom registration failed, and the password field in the module was set to some wierd characters, I thought it might have being some corruption and the enom at that time would have failed as I'd not updated Enom with my sites new IP anyway (a woops, forgot about that) Just now I'd seen a password on an account also corrupted, this account is slightly suspect, the password showing is: Wj>%: Now when I first logged into the admin on the new install after the move I did have to change the Charset as pound signs were showing up incorrect and changing it fixed it. I just don't know if this an attack attempt or an corruption I've gone through the logs and seen no suspect activity And yes, the admin folder is changed and locked down with a htaccess IP block Cheers all
  4. Small updates are not a problem, I went from 4.03 to 5.03, but on the 5 I decided to start from scratch and make WHMCS external but still skinned with minimal changes. It can be done just takes time, whmcs5 makes it a lot easier as it is more CSS based then 4 which had a lot of tables and unnecessary tagging. Scar, I'm assuming you have winmerge? If not its a useful tool and free.
  5. Pretty Amazing!! :-D But as someone who previously skinned WHMCS into a entire site, god help you come upgrade time! ;-)
  6. I've stilli got a bit more tweaking to do with parts of the site, corrections here and there and then start improving it area by area. The original reason for redoing was to go from whmcs version 4 to version 5. and at the same time go from 800 wide to 1024. The original studyhost was fully integrated into WHMCS, everypage was a created as a template file within the system. While it produces good results and makes it integrated when much of the regular template files are altered it makes updating a hard task and from 4 to 5 almost impossible. So for the update I decided to change it so that WHMCS was in a directory of its own. and alter as little of the core program as possible. A lot of the changes were restricted to the css files and rather then fully alter them I created a override.css file to put all my changes in. The only big change was cut the topbar out of the css and place in a file of its own. As I said, I've still got a bit off work to do, so forgive the slight errors. http://www.studyhost.co.uk
  7. I just did mine side by side http://www.studyhost.co.uk and skinned the blog to look the same
  8. Hello I have recently set up WHMCS to have 2 servers I have: ServerA and ServerB I have set ServerA in server setup and created two groups serveragroup and serverbgroup and placed the appropriate servers into the groups. In products, ProductA I have added servergroupa and in ProductB I have added servergroupb Now when testing I have found that ProductA products go through fine, click accept and the account is created. But when testing with ProductB, on the accept screen I have to manually select a server group and change from none to servergroupb Is this correct or is there a issue somewhere?
  9. Hi is anyone having any paypal issues? I'm not getting paypal order complete invoice completed emails through even though the system is accepting them. I've tried login into paypal but its not sending any SMS 6 digit passwords to login? Cheers
  10. I have my cpanel email gathered by Gmail and labelled and from there I have any email sent to my cpanel email pushed onto my phone automatically. Not ideal but its a nice workaround to have push cpanel email.
  11. I just wonder, what happens if you have two whmcs installs? I don't think it'd be possible to install the app twice, so would you have to keep switching login details?
  12. Maybe the first place to start would be to ask nicely rather then posting in a insulting manner.
  13. He John, where is this tick box, I had a pending order, I went to that screen and clicked accept but there was no tick box about sending welcome email - I had to do that manually again. Cheers
  14. I used to have WHMCS set to automatically create accounts upon Payment. I've now turned that off. Today I had two circumstances. One, a long time client paid his monthly invoice and while paypal took the payment the invoice was still set to unpaid, I manuall set it to paid and this then sent out a email. The 2nd circumstance. A client who had multiple accounts ordered a new one. I know him, soI set the account from pending to active and clicked create account, but then several hours later I noticed that it never sent the welcome email, so I manually did this. Is this due to the turning off the automatic account creation or is there an upset somewhere else? Cheers
