WhozOnline in the "Who is Online module" that WHMCS doesn't have. WhozOnline offers transparent session monitoring of your clients and enables you, the admin to see who is logged on, what page they last viewed, and when.

WhozOnline Real-time Session Monitoring Features

  • Adds a "Who's Online" system to your WHMCS admin area.
  • Real-time monitoring of your client activities.
  • Automatic monitoring of ClientArea visits using an Actionhook.
  • PHP code "widget" for adding monitoring to non-WHMCS pages.
  • Uses MySQL Memory (HEAP) tables for fast access.
  • Small client-side code footprint with low overhead.
  • Clients in sidebar widget are linked to Client Summary.
  • Sidebar widget refreshes via ajax every 30 seconds.
  • Virtually all parts of WhozOnline are based on the vBLink foundation of expandable, module-driven components.
  • Administrative module shows client, page location, IP address, and user-agent.

Nice mod. Impressive work!

Does the mod also show where a guest came from (url)?

I am a little confused on the requirements.

Does the WhoozOnline Pro 2.0 ($19.99) work on its own in combination with WHMCS or do I need additional modules like vBLink??

Thanks! Funny thing about guest referrers; I originally had that in there but took it out since I felt that it was mainly a who's online mod. Having now realized that information could be useful to some I have put that code back in. So the answer is yes, it will show their initial referrer when first visiting the clientarea. :)

And for the second question, no vBLink is not required at all to use WhozOnline, sorry for any confusion on that.. I meant that WhozOnline was built on top of the same modular codebase that is used in vBLink; meaning that it is easily expandable, however does not require vBLink at all.

Thanks Steve! I just installed version 1.0 and it installed very easy. It looks very good. And it works fine.

Also thank you for putting back in the initial referrer, it is really helpful.

I have another question, where do I find the PHP code "widget" for adding monitoring to non-WHMCS pages??

My apologies for that as well; it seems that I have neglected to add that to the documentation. I've added instructions on how to use it, but in short include the following line in any non-whmcs PHP file:

include('/path/to/whmcs/root/modules/admin/whoz_online/whoz_online_tracker.php');

Hope that helps, if not open a ticket and I would be glad to assist you.
