Somesite
Will the application be ported to ANDROID as well? iPhone is no longer the only popular smartphone. So my concern and question is will you be making this app for other phones in the future? Or will it stop at iCrap?
scurrell
Will the application be ported to ANDROID as well? iPhone is no longer the only popular smartphone. So my concern and question is will you be making this app for other phones in the future? Or will it stop at iCrap? If you search, you'll find the answer, as it's already been asked several times. Basically, no, as there's no-one at WHMCS with experience writing Android apps.
atDev
Does Android have a "app store" for the complete showing of all available apps, reviews, etc? If so where?

Maybe the first place to start would be to ask nicely rather then posting in a insulting manner.
mustardman
I would also like to express my desire to see an Android app. I never have and never will own an iPhone. Partly because I actually like to use my cell phone for making phone calls. Call me crazy! Most of the people here work with Linux so an Android phone seems like a natural fit.

I've owned a lot of smart phones over a years. And I love my iPhone. Its a very powerful device that makes CALLS beautifully. To say the iPhone is not good at making calls is absurd.
chrismfz
Basically, no, as there's no-one at WHMCS with experience writing Android apps. It's almost pure Java... Not a dificult thing to code something for Android...
mylove4life
I sell both and it really just matters where you are going to be using them at. There are places that one or both dont work to good. I've owned a lot of smart phones over a years. And I love my iPhone. Its a very powerful device that makes CALLS beautifully. To say the iPhone is not good at making calls is absurd.

To say the iPhone is not good at making calls is absurd. Every credible review I have read on iPhone where they actually talk about making voice calls did not give very favorable opinions . Problem is most reviews spend all their time talking about how shiny it is and how you can order pizza with it. Totally ignoring call quality which to me is absurd!
hyperactive
After having my iphone replaced four times over the last two years, and my wifes breaking two days ago (5th replacement), I have decided to go to a Motorola Driod. Im going to pick it up in about an hour. The ANDROID OS is an open source OS that is not to difficult to learn, especially for you smart programmer types. I would be willing to PRE-PAY the $39.95 for the app if one of you guys over there at whmcs is willing to port a version for the ANDROID 2.0 OS. I mean if 10 or more of us need this app, it would be worth it, you already have the base code form the iphone, porting it should be no problem. Sincerely,

Totally ignoring call quality which to me is absurd! to be honest after having the iphone for two years, i must say it is the best phone ive ever had, with the easiest, most user friendly UI ever developed for a phone.....However, constant hardware issues with the screen is what made me switch. I love my new motorola droid, but the iphone still takes first place, my hardware issues aside. but then again this is not an iphone or droid review forum, so ill stick on topic.... MAKE A DROID APP PLEASE!
