Can WHMCS use ioncube 10.2?
slsdoug replied to slsdoug's topic in Installation, Upgrade, and Import Support
Thanks for everyone's input. I'll give 10.2 a try. -
I am upgrading to PHP 7.2. My host says ioncube 10.2 will be installed. Will that work with WHMCS 7.5 or 7.6?

Where did no-reply@data-protected.net come from?
slsdoug replied to slsdoug's topic in Troubleshooting Issues
Thanks wsa, that was it. The client has data protection turned on and that was the contact email. -
A client was sent a reminder notice for a domain expiring soon. In the CC: field was no-reply@data-protected.net which gave undeliverable mail. I cannot find out where or how this email was put in the CC: field. Any help?

I need to move several clients from one whmcs to another. I copied the info to the target whmcs and made the products/services pending. How do I close down the old whmcs client without affecting the website and files? Both whmcs are on the same server.

Solved(?). I got it working. I backed up the database and whmcs. I erased whmcs off the server (v6.2.2) and replaced it with the full 6.2.2 version downloaded from whmcs. I added the configuration file and it worked! She uses the standard whmcs. I may do a file compare and see what is going on. Regarding my own whmcs, I've had, in the past, a few incremental upgrades not having all the files. I found this out by comparing a full version with an incremented version and found differences.

I have 2 whmcs' running on PHP 5.6. Mine (v6.3.1) works fine - admin and client. The reseller (v6.2.2), her admin works fine but the link to the client area gives this: Site error: the file /home/xxxxx/public_html/whmcs/clientarea.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation. Any ideas on how to fix it? Doug

It worked for me, too. PHP's default was set to UTC, server set to Los Angeles. Doug Smartlab Software

I have the same problem with 5.1.3. I tried the patch you listed and it worked. YMMV. I'd like an answer from WHMCS if there are any ramifications.

I'm trying to create a reseller hosting package (I have a VPS hostgator account). I use 'reseller account' as product type. The package never shows up in WHM after I save it.

Enom offers a business listing option for a domain. I would like to add this product to WHMCS. How do I do this?
-
I just had this happen. The characters, such as commas, were stripped from the auth code. The domain transfer then is rejected due to an invalid epp code. I have v4.2.1.

I ended up having to register both my nameservers with enom to communicate with them. I'll keep an eye on the to-do list. Thanks.

Still, I'd like to transfer the domain manually. If I do it in my enom account, the domain will end up in my account. I'm still unclear what happens when a client transfers a domain using WHMCS. Does it end up in my enom account? How is it tied to their WHMCS account?

I wasn't sure what to fill in when it asked the registrar: the one the domain is at or the one the domain is being transferred to. Apparently it is the one the domain is at - and that domain is not in the list.

I have enom acct and am a hostgator reseller. I tried using WHMCS to do a domain transfer and got an error: registrar error: domain name not found. I think the problem is enom has the wrong IP address registered (I'm working on that). I'd like to manually transfer the client's domain to enom. If I went through WHMCS, how is the domain stored at enom for the client? Under my account? Doug D
