We are setting up a business an hoping to use go cardless direct debit system. We are looking at billing broadband based services and telephone line rental. We know amounts can change month to month with some users. Question is can whmcs bill different amounts i.e. CDR and bandwidth broadband charging? if yes how to we go about setting it up?

Hi Can anyone reccomend any good VPS uk hosting providers for WHMCS as our current VPS provider has had our site down a few times over the past few months and when we made a complaint they told us they were closing our account. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot.

Did you get this sorted in the end?

Hi How do we use whmcs to obtain direct debit details on an order and show the order as completed once details have been entered so we may use our banks billing software manually?

If i have a customer which has cancelled their paypal subscription and we have not acted upon it due to staff not doing there job here. Will WHMCS send them an invoice and also notify us if an inoice hasnt been paid?

Hi Does whmcs support heart internet reseller accounts? If yes how much? Kind regards Mike

Thank you so much John for the advice. Mike

oh no i have already closed down my old hosting providers account. Oh well looks like for those 80-90 customers we will have to check manually. Mike

Ok cool thanks for clearing that up. Lets say i decide to move my database over to a new domain and your saying i wont get the paypal notification of payment ect on the new domain as it the notifucation from paypal is tied into account ordered on the old domain. Mike

ok just got my confirmation from 1and1 this morning to say the server i ordered has been cancelled and that any money shall be refunded within 2 weeks. hOSTING WITH D9Hosting is super

ok signed up with d9hosting on a vps 2 server UK based and so far they have been amazing and a good website with lots of info. Will post back with updates.

anyone else had any experience with d9hosting?

the price i was paying was £34.99 with vat included but when had to speak with their tech support last night due to ssh not working they said your server administor it urself. i said to them i have one of your managed servers and the tech guy put the phone down on me and i was calm and polite. Oh well if they do not cancel the contract within the distance selling act then i'll just get my brother who is a solicitor to sort them out. The search for a good UK based VPS cpanel server continues.

well got the server and so far the support for server is shockingly bad. i dodnt order any domains yet but i should be able to cacel within the distance selling act.
