  1. We were having issues with the links in cpanel, redirecting to the wrong place in WHMCS, but changing the IP to the server hostname fixes the problem
  2. You make a valid point ... but I guess we are all used to fixing the nameservers LOL
  3. Hostgator isn't a datacenter ... they use Softlayer, which is one of the best datacenter infrastructures. Thousands of hosts use Softlayer within the US and overseas.
  4. HHawk, There was nothing wrong with their hosting. They were compromised not by a hacking attempt, but by a third party impersonating a Matt, or another WHMCS staff member, and got the hosting company to provide sensitive information that lead to this incident. This is clearly the fault of the hosting provider. My only concern is that they have redundant licence servers in place, so a failure of communication to one, won't hinder providers ability to use WHMCS.
  5. No problem at all. wasn't sure if you meant the Whois privacy service they offer Enom calls ID Protect or not. We use both Enom and OpenSRS depending on the tld and it's pricing. Once nice thing about OpenSRS is Whois Privacy is Free, unlike Enom that charges I beleive $10 per year.
  6. Did you mean the new Enom TRUSTe Plugin that was recently released? See the following urls for that ... http://docs.whmcs.com/Enom_TRUSTe http://docs.whmcs.com/Enom_ID_Protection_Promo
  7. Full info on how to set that up is in the KB. http://docs.whmcs.com/Enom_SSL_Certificates
  8. Actually, the instructions are pretty straight forward. before upgrading/uploading, backup your database and files. Yes, the "existing installation folder" is where it was originally installed. Upgrading is merely overwriting the original files from a previous install. The folder is not named in the instructions as the folder name can be changed from the default directory name. You don't upload all the files to the "install" directory. The install directory is where the install/upgrade scripts and sql files are placed, to perform an install or upgrade. Once you upload 4.5.1, simply login to your WHMCS, and it should automatically invoke the upgrade scripts. Once the upgrade is done, simply delete the install directory (for security reasons) If you can't figure it out, WHMCS does provide an installation/upgrade service at a reasonable price.
  9. You know how to make a grown man cry .... awesome work!
  10. The new upgrade/downgrade function is very nice ..many thanks ... however it would be nice to see it support only the upgrades selected that are defined in the "Upgrades" tab when configuring a product, instead of showing all products available.
  11. From what I understand from the developers, Wordpress MU will be discontinued ... however Wordpress 3.0 will have multi-user capabilites. See more info on the RC1 release at http://wordpress.org/development/2010/05/wordpress-3-0-release-candidate/
  12. We didn't set a base price. Just entered configurable options like so ... Set Option Name to: ValidityPeriod|Validity Period and the Options ... 12|1 Year - 24|2 Years - 36|3 Years - 48|4 Years - 60|5 Years - and set yourpricing per option. also note, make the product a 1 time item, not recurring.
  13. Just rechecked my 4.2.1 download, and I can confirm that file wasn't part of the distribution. Now why it's pulling the GBP pricing has me stumped. We do have 4 currency's setup, with USD as the default. Everything else of the site works properly, except this script. Anyone have a fix or willing to take a look at the zip file and update it?
  14. installing this mod on WHMCS 4.21 produces the following error as well namespinner.tpl line 179]: [plugin] modifier 'lower' is not implemented (core.load_plugins.php, line 118) in /includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1093
  15. Got this working, but I have one small issue. This code displays pricing in GBP apparently and this is the only code that will do that on the site, so I assume it's hardcoded, but for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out where in the code to fix it. I have a feeling this was coded before the multi-currency was added to WHMCS? Any ideas how to fix this?
  16. Using WHMCS 4.0.1 and version 1.3 of your software, we are not getting anything in the "We also recommend" section. This seemed to quit working after we added .us to our domain configuration within WHMCS, and so we removed .us and only have .com, .net, and .org configured and still no results, except the header for the "We also recommend" section displays. Here is the debug info. <?xml version="1.0"?> <interface-response> <namespin> <spincount>20</spincount> <TLDList ></TLDList > <domains> <domain name="ventfragtwo" com="n" comscore="852" net="n" netscore="825" tv="y" tvscore="798" cc="y" ccscore="772" /> <domain name="ventfweek2" com="n" comscore="839" net="n" netscore="812" tv="y" tvscore="785" cc="y" ccscore="759" /> <domain name="airfrag2" com="n" comscore="826" net="n" netscore="799" tv="y" tvscore="772" cc="y" ccscore="746" /> <domain name="ventfragto" com="n" comscore="813" net="n" netscore="786" tv="y" tvscore="759" cc="y" ccscore="733" /> <domain name="ventfpaper2" com="n" comscore="800" net="n" netscore="773" tv="y" tvscore="746" cc="y" ccscore="720" /> <domain name="ventilatefrag2" com="n" comscore="786" net="n" netscore="760" tv="y" tvscore="733" cc="y" ccscore="707" /> <domain name="ventfragpair" com="n" comscore="773" net="n" netscore="747" tv="y" tvscore="720" cc="y" ccscore="694" /> <domain name="ventfdun2" com="n" comscore="760" net="n" netscore="734" tv="y" tvscore="707" cc="y" ccscore="681" /> <domain name="airoutfrag2" com="n" comscore="747" net="n" netscore="721" tv="y" tvscore="694" cc="y" ccscore="667" /> <domain name="ventfweektwo" com="n" comscore="734" net="n" netscore="708" tv="y" tvscore="681" cc="y" ccscore="654" /> <domain name="lockheedfrag2" com="n" comscore="732" net="n" netscore="705" tv="y" tvscore="678" cc="y" ccscore="652" /> <domain name="myventfrag2" com="n" comscore="732" net="n" netscore="705" tv="y" tvscore="678" cc="y" ccscore="652" /> <domain name="theventfrag2" com="n" comscore="732" net="n" netscore="705" tv="y" tvscore="678" cc="y" ccscore="652" /> <domain name="ventfrag2online" com="n" comscore="732" net="n" netscore="705" tv="y" tvscore="678" cc="y" ccscore="652" /> <domain name="webventfrag2" com="n" comscore="732" net="n" netscore="705" tv="y" tvscore="678" cc="y" ccscore="652" /> <domain name="airfragtwo" com="n" comscore="721" net="n" netscore="695" tv="y" tvscore="668" cc="y" ccscore="641" /> <domain name="fighterfrag2" com="n" comscore="714" net="n" netscore="687" tv="y" tvscore="661" cc="y" ccscore="634" /> <domain name="lockheed" com="n" comscore="714" net="n" netscore="687" tv="y" tvscore="661" cc="y" ccscore="634" /> <domain name="airfweek2" com="n" comscore="708" net="n" netscore="682" tv="y" tvscore="655" cc="y" ccscore="628" /> <domain name="lockheedventfrag2" com="n" comscore="696" net="n" netscore="670" tv="y" tvscore="643" cc="y" ccscore="616" /> </domains> </namespin> <originalsld>ventfrag2</originalsld> <Command>NAMESPINNER</Command> <Language>eng</Language> <ErrCount>0</ErrCount> <ResponseCount>0</ResponseCount> <MinPeriod>0</MinPeriod> <MaxPeriod>0</MaxPeriod> <Server>sjl01wresell14</Server> <Site>eNom</Site> <IsLockable>False</IsLockable> <IsRealTimeTLD>False</IsRealTimeTLD> <TimeDifference>+0.00</TimeDifference> <ExecTime>0.469</ExecTime> <Done>true</Done> <debug></debug> <TrackingKey>d71b5b73-1c2d-4c4e-9a37-001a02603fd6</TrackingKey> </interface-response>
