intramanga replied to Sunburnt's topic in Feedback
Bluff ?? I have 2 post that are edited , 1 missing , and 3 out of 5 topics I started are closed. You call it bluff or whatever you like , I call it lousy support , that's all I can say , sorry. EDIT: Oh , I forgot the unanswered (closed again) ticket and private message to Matt. -

Off course not , All posts with complaints are edited by mods, closed and even removed. -
Update: Just played a little with this because I needed this also , and I was able to put the product custom fields (only view) on the client side in the .tpl templates with this code : {$customfields.1.value} {$customfields.2.value} Ed,

You can easily add your own entries in the language .txt files and than in the .tpl templates. Ed,
-
sorry , I guess i am wrong here , the custom fields are not shown on the client's product page , only in admin. Would be nice that custom fields have the option to be shown to the client ass well. Ed,
-
one option would be to add custom fields for this purpose to the product (hosting package). Ed,

how to add a product / service - that do not need domain.
intramanga replied to naveen3's topic in General Discussion
Not so far for me , but I don't use it for hosting packages , I use this for several other services I give and that seems to work fine for me. Ed, -

This is because you have hosting or server set as product type , you have to set 'OTHER' as product type. Than this option comes available. Ed, -

In the Product details page , uncheck the box 'Tick to show domain registration options' I use this for the same reason and it works fine Ed, -
AWBS, domain renewal invoice and WHMCS
intramanga replied to fabiof's question in Pre-Sales Questions
I can confirm WHMCS does this , as long as the Next Due Date is set on the same day , it will generate only 1 invoice. Even multiple hsoting accounts and domains set all on same due date will all go to 1 invoice. Ed, -
Yes , got it also now
-
hmm , did not get anything neither , checked my spam box also , nothing from you Matt ... Ed,
-
Don't you have to use it like this ? /usr/local/bin/php -q /home/MYCPANELUSERNAME/public_html/whmcs/admin/cron.php That's how mine works. Ed,
-
Please don't fill up the forums by making totally useless posts with answers like this. Thank you, Ed,

Domain taken but still able to order it.
intramanga replied to tyr0n's topic in Troubleshooting Issues
Well I presume the .es domain is supported because it is in your whoisservers.php and does not give any error. Nevertheless it let clients register .es domains that already are registered. Why is that ? Ed, -
Domain taken but still able to order it.
intramanga replied to tyr0n's topic in Troubleshooting Issues
Indeed , I have that problem with .es domains , it allows registration although the domain is taken. It would be nicer if WHMCS showed some "Cannot check at this time" message or something similar. Ed, -

Forum ettiquette and the "snark" factor
intramanga replied to Blueberry3.14's topic in General Discussion
Being a moderator is not only a question of being helpful and tolerant , it is a lot more than that , like making the right judgements , let people speak freely , even if you don't like what they write (speak freely obviously does not mean flaming) , but speaking freely is a right in almost every educated country. And also please , do not just invent new rules on the fly. I have to admit that is is not always an easy job ( I couldn't do it ), but after all a forum has a lot of purposes , many good and obviously some less. And if you take such a job (which I admire), you should do it in the interest of ALL , not only in your own , or the owners. Again my 2C Ed, -
Forum ettiquette and the "snark" factor
intramanga replied to Blueberry3.14's topic in General Discussion
Not only on billing forums , but unfortunately this is a true fact that I also see more and more on a lot of forums. This together with forums full of moderators who maintain their own unwritten rules and act like they are God themselves , blocking and removing posts for no reason , except that they don't like the post, are making forums these days sometimes an unpleasant place to be where nobody can express themselves freely anymore. I really hope this wont happen here ... My 2C, Ed, -
Yep that's it , I got it in the Directamin forum a while ago , after that it worked perfect ! Ed,
-
This is not a bug , it has something to do with the servers email system. I had to make a small change in my exim.conf (Directadmin) configuration file. I think all Directadmin systems have this error at start with some piping, maybe others also. Also with kayako piping I had that problem first. Anyway after the change it all worked fine for me. Ed,
-
WOW , definitely not the way to go , even if they gave the domains for free

I have something similar strange. In the invoice list , an invoice with unpaid status , clicking the 'mark paid' button does not change the status to PAID if the amount of the invoice is 0,00. Putting an amount of 0.01 does change the status. Ed, EDIT: Or with any negative amount it is not possible to change status neither.
