  1. I ran into this while using Vodafone's Mobile Broadband while on holiday, despite being stationary with a good signal and consistent connection, at one point my IP was changing every minute which made doing anything on WHMCS a real pain. This seems to be just a one time issue however. While I appreciate this is to prevent session hijacking, could the IP match be slackened? Most mobile broadband and phone internet providers have a range that is no greater than one /24. If WHMCS detects that you are accessing it from a different /24 from what your cookie was issued to, then perhaps it could reject you.
  2. This was a great help, thanks for posting.
  3. Annoyingly, our WHMCS install is on a different server to our main site. We also have a separate SSL certificate for WHMCS which would need to re-bought if we chose to merge them into one domain and seperate with folders. One idea i've had is to install WHMCS on the main site and link it to the WHMCS DB on the WHMCS server. Then, I can use rewrite rules on the main site to make it appear as if the KB was being loaded from within the page, i'll need to talk to Matt about this regarding licencing.
  4. I've not had any major problems with PayPal either, but as there are many horror stories flying around, I make sure to keep the funds in my own control - as soon as I go over £50 in account balance, I withdraw it to my bank account.
  5. We currently have two sites, http://game.kingj.net, our main site outlining all of our products and features and https://billing.game.kingj.net, our billing portal. Clients only make their way to the billing portal to manage their billing or to order by clicking a link from the main site. We want to make use of the knowledge base to provide more help to our customers. However, we would much perfer to have it on our main website as it gets far more traffic and would assist SEO. How might I go about doing this? The billing and main sites are on two different servers so this might be an issue. I just want to be able to put the knowledge base into the main content area, but use absolute URLs - so iframes are out of the question.
  6. Indeed, however it might take us years to sell $100 worth of domains - money that could be better spent elsewhere. Domains and Webhosting are not our primary business areas. As mentioned previously, I went with NetEarthOne, who let me deposit a custom amount which is suitable for the volume of domains I sell - I just add in $10 as and when I need to. Just the same as you can do with ResellerClub.
  7. I don't think it fixed it immediately, so this might not of been the fix for my specific problem.
  8. No, I didn't try that. Will do now.
  9. I ran that, however no files where updated. Using the CURRENT release.
  10. I have this problem, and turning off "Update Usage Statistics" does allow me to receive my report again. Where can I get this updated cpanel.php file aegisdesign is referring to?
  11. Webhosting is not our primary business, we offer it alongside our other products and to not offer some form of domain registration would be silly. I do not expect to get $100 in domain orders for a long time. I actually went with Netearthone after having a talk with them. They suited my needs perfectly.
  12. Any time I move money to another account, I call it a deposit. Even so, it's $100 I might not get back for a long time. If I had a steady flow of domain orders, it would be understandable.
  13. Since this isn't our main line of business, nor do I anticipate many sales I prefer not to pay until i've got some actual clients, hence the reluctance to pop down $100 or more. I'm just not ready to put down that amount of money for something that won't necessarily get a return, ever. And scrap namecheap, they want $200 deposit/balance for API access!
  14. Yep, they both require $100 deposit last I checked. Having a look at namecheap, at lease I can opt what I want to put in, but i'd rather be invoiced.
  15. Hi, We are offering Web Hosting as a side offer, our primary use of WHMCS is in tandem with TCAdmin. However, we've had a few requests from users to allow them to register domains with us, rather than recommend them to another domain provider and have them point the DNS at our server. However, looking around at various registrars, it seems they either need a yearly payment or deposit $100 or more before being able to register. We don't want to deposit $100 or make a yearly payment because I know domain sales will never offset that. Are there any registers out there that intergrate with WHMCS's API and will charge me for domains sold in the month or charge me just per domain? I'm not too worried about the per-domain price.
