  1. Howdy I'm currently toying with the idea of moving from a dedicated server provider that supplies WHMCS free of charge to their clients to a new provider that does not. I know I will need to buy a license and I'm not worried about. My question is; what kind of issues can I expect to run in to moving the data from one server to another? How do I even go about this? Do I simply load a clean install of WHMCS and restore a backup or is there an export import feature for all the client information (invoices, history, etc) Have you done this before? If so how did it work out for you? Thanks for any and all help...
  2. Well I've been using SRSPlus for years and would love to have it intergrated in to WHMCS. I get great rates and support from NetSol being a reseller so I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want to use them.
  3. I resolved this by simply getting 6 people working on it by hand. I also had everyone call any customer that had not updated their information in a while and got them all updated with current info. It sucked but its done. I contacted tech support and they stated simply copy the database from one server to the other. Maybe it would have worked, not sure as we just jumped in with both feet and hammered it out.
  4. Has anyone found a way to do this? I'm having the same issue. Moving that much data by hand seems a bit silly.
  5. Howdy all: I have a hosted service that does not have a domain attached within WHMCS, so the service for hosting is being billed but the cost of the domain is not. How can I just add in the domain for that hosted account? The hosting is account is already setup for the domain in question Here are some of the details: so http://www.customerdomain.com is hosted with us already. I control the domain already as well. I would like to avoid sending an invoice to the customer saying the domain has been setup, but I want the domain to be in the system so it can be billed next year. Thanks for any and all help... Jayson
  6. Quick question, I haven't "yet" purchased the upgrade to WHMCS to remove the "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" statement, does this purchase also remove the WHMC logo within the PDF invoice output? (upper left square blue logo) If no, is there a way to change that logo to my own that I may just be missing? As always, thanks for any and all help... Jayson
  7. I've found nothing I would call a "negative"... The system is very well laid out, fast, easy to learn and use. So far (knock on wood) I've had no problems and I'm very happy. I cannot say any of that about CE. From the start it was not easy, it was very slow, and the automatic features were NOT very well implemented. I will never say they didn't try. Not knowing how long WHMCS has been in the business or available I'd have to say that would be the one draw back. I would have switch a year ago if I had known it was available. Advertise and they will come =)
  8. Howdy all: I just started using WHMCS and in the two days I've been testing it (before I go to production) I've found it to be light years ahead of Clientexec which I have been using for some time. It's super fast, very clean and easy to use, both on the client and admin sides of the system. I'm very impressed. Jayson
  9. Great point, I didn't think of that one, spent a good two hours trying everything else. I receieved an email from the hosting provider stating they don't supply any support for third party apps, but it appears they have done something on their end because the system started working on its own. I was able to complete the install by following the promps and all appears to be working great. The system is fast and looks great... Once again thanks for the help Jayson
  10. Howdy all: I read through the read me file and tried to install WHMCS on a shared hosting provider (Hostdime) that offers WHMCS for free, but here is the kicker, can't get it to work with IONCUBE. I get the following error trying to install. I've followed the directions and placed the IONCUBE folder where I was directed to, and still get the same error. Anyone else using WHMCS on Hostdime shared servers? If so how did you get it to work with IONCUBE? Thanks for any and all help. Jayson
