  1. This might not be a bug and could be designed to work this way, but it sure confuses me. I deleted an order, (I had set up the hosting account manually). I was surprised when the client called to say their website was gone. Oooops, so I pay $15 to HostGator to restore the account. After playing around with a dummy order and dummy account, I see that when I delete or cancel the order, something behind the scenes is also deleting the hosting account off of the server! I would not expect that to happen without confirming to ask me if I really want the account deleted. I think an order and an established account are two different things. Interestingly enough, the product (hosting account) still appears in WHMCS in the client's account.. I hope someone will tell me that I stupidly over-looked some setting somewhere that prevents accounts from ever being deleted from the server under any circumstances without asking me first. Richard
  2. Thanks John, That is great information to know. I was wondering about that and you cleared it up. I would have hoped that Google could have a means to work like Quantum Data or eOnline Data where I could process payments inside WHMCS, but guess there are not there yet.
  3. Thank you Daniel. Gee, that's a bummer. The Google site was leading me to believe it could do that via the API. Seems strange that I would need to enter Merchant ID and Merchant Key in WHMCS if it wasn't going to connect to the API to process a payment. I thought it was WHMCS that isn't working right. I'm wondering what is the point of having Google payment in WHMCS if it isn't going to use the API. I sure don't want my customers to have to go to Google every month to pay their bill. Perhaps I need to try something else. again, thanks for your opinion.
  4. Ok Folks, this is probably the dumbest question on WHMCS, but after looking at the forum for an hour, I don't see this mentioned. Maybe I overlooked it. By the way, I love WHMCS. It's powerful and reliable !!! I've used WHMCS for 2 years with Authorize.net and eOnlineData card processing. Now I am switching to Google Checkout. Thus, I am familiar with these types of setup procedures. After setting up Google Checkout, I am baffled as to why I don't see the usual "Attempt Payment" button on the invoice form. Instead the button reads "Send Invoice Created Email" ? I thought I would be able to use Google Checkout in the same way to automatically process payments. It seems that I have the integration API setup properly and the callback is correct, but not sure what stupid thing I'm doing wrong. Anyone else have that issue before?
  5. We bulk loaded 200 customers into WHMCS and have the same question. We need to assign ACCOUNTS to some affiliates. Soooooo, there are not any orders in our system.
  6. I am looking for the same thing. The problem here is that is depends on there being an order in the first place. We imported customers from ClientExec and also created other products manually in customer's accounts, so there are not any orders. It would be nice to have a button on a customer's summary page where they can be assigned to an affiliate. Kim
  7. Bingo! I came in today to specifically look for this same answer. I see other people are also interested. In our case, we have affiliates that already referred customers in the past. We just put WHMCS in place and now we need to manually assign accounts to affiliates. I don't see a way to assign an account to an affiliate in WHMCS, this I presume the only way at this time is to hack the MySQL database. (not sure what to do bu tI am snooping around) Kim
  8. I have the same problem and trying to figure it out.
