  1. Thanks for this, was just about to write one myself and saw yours, saved me several hours of php pain and suffering.
  2. Thanks Matt, passed that along to the customer I'll see what he responds with, since that's the end goal keeping the customer happy
  3. I had a client bring up an interesting point in a support request. I thought I would pass them along and give his feedback about how WHMCS handles some addresses: Is there a way to make it so that whois information passed along to the registrar is a little more friendly to how his address really is?
  4. Uhm, yep it runs, it just don't suspend, I opened a ticket too, with a full copy of the cron email.
  5. I have this same problem, but if I go in and click "Suspend" from within the client screen for each one, it works, no bad password or anything?
  6. Maybe a Promotion option in the drop down that adds to the "Discount Method" a "Free days" option Then in that field you put the # of days free to give them and their next due date would be today + XX days. Probably wouldn't be that hard to code into the promotions system.
  7. Yeah got both my whoiscarts imported and running WHMCS for my billing now, thanks for all the help! Still learning the whmcs system some as I go along but so far it's a huge leap better than whoiscart was, finally customers can update their info without having to rely on me to change passwords and email addresses and so far people are able to renew domains without my help too! That's just peachy.
  8. I gave you my script in a helpdesk ticket already I'll resend via email, don't think a php script that shows unencrypted whoiscart credit cards is something I should post publicly eh?
  9. Gladly, sending you a dump of one of my whoiscart installs now. One problem I've had however is the encrypted card data being corrupted in a mysqldump due to unprintable characters.
  10. But that will make ALL plans require a domain reg/transfer right? I only want to require a domain for the one plan, the free one, the rest of the plans can be without a domain registration/transfer to be ordered.
  11. Yep exactly, free hosting with a domain, any domain. So regardless of which domain they get, they can get a simple small hosting package to go with it.
  12. I offer free hosting but only with a domain registration/transfer/renewal so how can I (or can I) require a domain name to be ordered for this free package?
  13. I placed a test order, marked it accepted, and I get this error: Automatic Setup Error: Account Creation Failed - YET! it did actually create the account on the server!? But the server doesn't send out a welcome message (either the DA server or the WHMCS side). This is Directadmin, pretty vanilla install on the server side. So I uncheck the "create account" and hit the accept order again, and it accepts it and sends the welcome message (from whmcs). Also when I delete the hosting from whmcs for this test domain, it doesn't remove it from the DA server? Is that normal or can I set this somewhere so it will delete? Thanks!
  14. The billing system an old employee wrote did refunds at auth.net, but alas he isn't around to keep it updated so I had to abandon it. So I am 100% positive it is possible, because he did it.
