Not really a bug but a small problem I had. I moved an expiring domain over to a new client that wanted to take it over from the client that did not want to renew it. Well once I moved it I created new invoice so it would auto renew the domain when he paid for it. But I forgot to delete the old invoice from the old clients account. The old client decided to pay the invoice and it auto renewed even though the domain was no longer under his account. Anyone have this issue? I thought it might be good to have a safety feature so that doesn't happen. or an alert of some sort. whats your thoughts?

Thank you for all your advice. My WHMCS is a mess trying to clean it up.. there have been so many different admins that have installed many different times over the years.. Also I use cliffsupport.com for a while now.. I have been sending support tickets to them to look into this more and harden my server and securing everything. But they have been very slow to even respond to my support ticket taking days.. I dont know enought to fix and get a clean whmcs install done right. I think I might have to go with a different support company. the few few partners I've had over the past 10 years where the admins... I would more with sales and clients.

Hello. We have been having an issue with a hacker that gained access to our whmcs and has been diverting funds from our paypal gateway. He is very sneaky. covers his tracks deletes DB details. I just thought I would warn others and share his paypal email address he was using and see if anyone else has had same issues from same attacker. kurnia.hudaya@yahoo.com is his paypal address.

Is there a log for all clients activity or just one for each client?

If whmcs had a little delay before sending out the emails you could combine some of them. the welcome email and hosting account emails you would still want to keep separate. but it's not setup like that.

yeah but you would loose the automation aspect of it.. I see the reason for each invoice. They are all needed but at the same time it sucks cause the client is getting flooded with them.

Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the amount of emails whmcs sends out to clients? When a new client signs up whmcs sends out about 6 or more emails. 1.Order Confirmation 2.Customer Invoice 3.Welcome 4.Invoice Payment Confirmation 5.Domain Registration Confirmation 6.Hosting Account Information I feel like I'm sending email bombs and flooding clients accounts with mass amounts of emails. I worry about how the client feels about this and if it's too much. Also with so many emails in a short time I worry that they might get marked as spam and never reach the client at all. And on top of all that I have the mobile SMS module sending even more text alerts to the clients phones. Is it too much for new clients? And If there not already overwhelmed after just signing up. Then they sure are after logging into cpanel, client area and all the other control panels. Anyone have any thoughts on all this?

Hello. How do you add a client thats already setup in whmcs to a clients affiliate account? I have a client that was referred by another client but was not added to there affiliate account when it was first setup.

Can you edit the client fields? I don't mean adding new custom fields. Just looking to edit some text in the client profiles. I would like to change some text for (postal code to Zip/Postal Code) & (State/Region to State/Region/Province) If I can add more files within that same section I would love to request home/business/mobile number fields and a few others. I'm trying to setup a package in products/services. I create a new group. Then I create a new product. But for some reason I cant change the payment type. It's stuck on free. I try and change to One time or Recurring. I click save and it sets back to free. also if I create a duplicate of another package its also stuck on the payment type option that was already set. Can anyone help me with this?

Can we get an update on this? Did they project ever get off the ground?

Does anyone have this issue with 2co merchant provider when a new order comes in and its paid by credit card with 2co. payment is marked paid in whmcs.. later on if that credit card is marked as fraud. it doesnt update in whmcs.. so when we get an new account like this. our system auto reg domains.. and it comes out of our pocket. this issue breaks our automation when we have to turn off auto domain registration is there a fix for this?

Does anyone know if whmcs can be setup to collect payments from clients and have it sent to different merchant accounts? We have 2 different companies one hosting and own web design. Together we offer a full web service package (web site design & web hosting) One gets the income from the hosting and the other makes there money from web design.. but we want to invoice our clients from one billing system (whmcs) but we would like to know if there is an option that when a client is billed for web design.. the money goes directly to web design companies merchant account. and payments for hosting go to a different merchant account. Does anyone know if this is possible in whmcs?

Is there a quick easy way to add one or more alreadyregistered domains to a clients account other then placing a new order for each domain?
