Not really a bug but a small problem I had. I moved an expiring domain over to a new client that wanted to take it over from the client that did not want to renew it. Well once I moved it I created new invoice so it would auto renew the domain when he paid for it. But I forgot to delete the old invoice from the old clients account. The old client decided to pay the invoice and it auto renewed even though the domain was no longer under his account. Anyone have this issue? I thought it might be good to have a safety feature so that doesn't happen. or an alert of some sort. whats your thoughts?

Thank you for all your advice. My WHMCS is a mess trying to clean it up.. there have been so many different admins that have installed many different times over the years.. Also I use cliffsupport.com for a while now.. I have been sending support tickets to them to look into this more and harden my server and securing everything. But they have been very slow to even respond to my support ticket taking days.. I dont know enought to fix and get a clean whmcs install done right. I think I might have to go with a different support company. the few few partners I've had over the past 10 years where the admins... I would more with sales and clients.

Hello. We have been having an issue with a hacker that gained access to our whmcs and has been diverting funds from our paypal gateway. He is very sneaky. covers his tracks deletes DB details. I just thought I would warn others and share his paypal email address he was using and see if anyone else has had same issues from same attacker. kurnia.hudaya@yahoo.com is his paypal address.

If whmcs had a little delay before sending out the emails you could combine some of them. the welcome email and hosting account emails you would still want to keep separate. but it's not setup like that.

yeah but you would loose the automation aspect of it.. I see the reason for each invoice. They are all needed but at the same time it sucks cause the client is getting flooded with them.

Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the amount of emails whmcs sends out to clients? When a new client signs up whmcs sends out about 6 or more emails. 1.Order Confirmation 2.Customer Invoice 3.Welcome 4.Invoice Payment Confirmation 5.Domain Registration Confirmation 6.Hosting Account Information I feel like I'm sending email bombs and flooding clients accounts with mass amounts of emails. I worry about how the client feels about this and if it's too much. Also with so many emails in a short time I worry that they might get marked as spam and never reach the client at all. And on top of all that I have the mobile SMS module sending even more text alerts to the clients phones. Is it too much for new clients? And If there not already overwhelmed after just signing up. Then they sure are after logging into cpanel, client area and all the other control panels. Anyone have any thoughts on all this?

Hello. How do you add a client thats already setup in whmcs to a clients affiliate account? I have a client that was referred by another client but was not added to there affiliate account when it was first setup.
