Our Change Payment Method Pro module allows clients to select their desired payment method, including a specific card, on a per-product basis. From the same developers of the popular Set Default Payment Method module that was previously offered for sale since 2019, the new Change Payment Method Pro module was completely rewritten to allow users to select a specific credit or debit card to use on a per-product basis, which will automatically apply as the chosen card on future invoices generated for that product. This module will automatically detect and set the most recent payment method on a certain invoice as the new default payment method going forward. Another update: we are excited to announce that we are close to releasing the completely revamped module as mentioned previously that now allows users to set custom credit cards on a per-product basis. This module will also automatically keep track of the last credit card used by a customer to pay for a product and set this card as a custom card without manual intervention. Hello all, Just wanted to update the community that by popular request, we have been diligently working on a custom method to set a specific credit card on a particular service, to overcome the default WHMCS limitation of only allowing one default credit card per profile that applies to all products. However, as this new module will be a completely revamped product, it will be launched as a separate subscription-based product rather than the one-time fee we charge for the current module. We hope to launch this by end of year or early 2024. Stay tuned!

Sorry for the delayed response, it appears we weren't notified about a reply on this thread. 1) Yes, it works with the latest WHMCS version, currently v8.4.1 and also prior versions 2) Not on a per-product basis at this time due to WHMCS limitations. You can only set one credit card as default for all products. We're working on something that overcomes this limitation.

We have developed a useful module that will allow clients to set their preferred (default) payment method on a per-product basis, while also visually reminding clients who have a credit card stored on WHMCS but not set as a payment method to do so. This module was previously posted at: ... but we have since updated the module over the years significantly to work with the latest WHMCS 7.8.x and PHP 7.2.x. Yes, Merchant Direct is the method used in both the default WHMCS module and the 3D Secure addon.

Since WHMCS does not pass the Auth Confirmation number, that is the only field not passed onto the email template. Otherwise, the template complies with IS payment confirmation requirements.

The card should be charged, and processed by InternetSecure, even in demo mode, if you use one of the test CC numbers provided in the WHMCS docs. Therefore, WHMCS will treat it like a real transaction and mark the invoice as paid. That's the intended way for the demo mode to work, it's like using a real credit card and going through the same process, except for actually charging the card.

This is not a bug. It should work if you provide InternetSecure with your server IP, they need it before it will work even in demo mode. You will definitely see it working in demo mode if successful

I posted it here a long time ago, but not many users have noticed it seems http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=38419&highlight=internetsecure We've been using 3DSecure successfully for the past year or so, and it's worked wonderfully -- helps ensure you don't get chargebacks when the transaction is verified, but it reverts to standard processing for non-3Dsecure credit cards or when processing on cron job. Interac Online has also been tested by several users, and they've told me it works well.

We have updated the script to be compatible with WHMCS v5.0.3! If interested in the update, please post here, so that we can judge interest. As mentioned previously, this module is still useful to allow customers set their payment gateway on a per-product basis

But if you want 3DSecure and Interac Online support for InternetSecure, a separate module is available

We have had dozens of orders and no one has complained so far. We have also been using it successfully on 5 active company sites that we own, and it works perfectly. No bugs or anything, and full source is available for those who want to improve on it. We also solicit feedback, so let us know if you run into any issues.

It shows USD for me too, but on the hosteris site I see Canada flag. We need CAD to be configured before buying

If anyone has any feature requests for this module, please make them known! It is still useful in v4.5, as there is still no built-in client-side support yet in WHMCS for changing the default payment gateway on a per-product basis without administrator intervention. Coupled with the free code at http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=30782 , it works amazingly well for administrators trying to manage their clients' payment gateway!

We use InternetSecure merchant gateway and it's working wonderfully. We have developed modules to make use of 3D Secure and Interac Online exclusively for WHMCS/InternetSecure (search the forum for more info), which makes it the best integrated gateway for Canadian merchants. It also supports recurring payments, and they have a very low fee structure. IS also has the ability to process in both USD and CAD, and have multiple accounts for different business names. They also deposit funds daily to your bank account, so there is absolutely no downside.

InternetSecure is what Elavon provides for online-based transactions, and it works very well. It also has 3D secure support and fees are quite competitive. Rates are as low as 1.99% + $0.10 per txn
