Hi, Not sure if you can do this - is it possible to have certain gateways for certain products? E.G For domain renewals, use Paypal, for other products use Bank transfer/cheque. Does anybody know if this is possible? Thanks C.

Sorry if this has been covered, but i have scraped the internet and not come up with an answer that makes sense to me! Is Paypal Website Payments Pro stopping processing of Maestro cards in the UK from 31st of January, or are they simply saying you need to have this 3-d secure thingy in your application to continue using them? If they are continuing, it appears that WHMCS will have an updated module in time for that deadline, so no disruption to Maestro card payments will occur at all? Is that all correct? C.

What problems were you experiencing? Was the server using IIS or Apache? Be really handy to know what fixes you came up with C.

Really love this - great modifications with brilliant icons - top marks mate

I get a standard WHMCS theme at the above link...

650px pixel width is pretty small, but it still gets the content across nicely. I guess the problem with having a 22" monitor (and i guess 1680 by 1050) is that most sites will look tiny unless they are designed to stretch the screen. Quite a few people still use 800 x 600 so its good to see designers using widths that will accommodate those people Your WHMCS is nice, i like how youve matched the colors spot on - perhaps change the icons to be similar to your site design to add that extra touch?

This is meant to be constructive criticism but may sound a bit harsh so i apologise in advance! I really preferred your old layout - even if it was using frames. Now it just looks like a vanilla whmcs installation with a nasty banner at the top. It looks like your banner has been squashed to fit into that space, giving lots of aliasing and a very jagged appearance. If i were you i would look at trying to achieve your original effect with out using frames - it should be easy to integrate a your header and footer. At current it looks far to different than your actual site. Again, sorry if i appear to be over harsh, im just sharing my opinion. -Carl

It should run on any os distribution providing it has the following software installed; * PHP Version 4.2.x or later * MySQL Version 3.2.x or later * Curl Support * GD Image Library * Ioncube Loaders Support * Open_basedir Disabled http://support.whmcs.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&catid=3&id=1

It Would be really handy to have a "Move all clients from server a to server b" button for when servers are replaced, imagine doing that with a full servers worth of clients...

Domain Transfer/Register still showing after disabled
CarlB replied to LifeGuard's topic in Troubleshooting Issues
Would disabling the last option (use their own domain) prevent customers from entering any domain into the system? -
I really like how you have broken the icons up into sections, makes a nice change from the traditional icon layout. Really Good job
-
You wouldn't need to transfer the domain, just update the name servers to point at the correct server mate. £50 a year is alot for a dedicated ip though...

You can get a ssl cert for about $10 from Godaddy... it really is worth it, your customers (or potential ones) will have much more confidence in you

I understand a bit more now, thanks I still think that the customer has to be aware they are paying late (reminders perhaps), it would have to occur to them that later charges would be applied, and that they should make it a priority to make the subscription on the correct date the following month. I think that principle exists with most monthly paid services - for example, my credit card bill is due on 1st of the month, if i set up a direct debit to go out on the 5th of each month, its my fault if i get charged late fees or have my card suspended. Any customer that complained at you about being charged late fees despite a subscription could easily be put to rest by you explaining that the subscription needs to be set up on the right date, maybe even stick in a knowledge base? I really do see where your coming from, but its ultimatey the customers responsibility to make sure payments are made on time - if they setup a subscription past the due date i think they should be made to rectify it, not the responisbility of the company to adjust there system to make allowances for bad debters. I do fully understand your point of view, i guess it just comes down to preference on your billing proces

Do you mean that the WHMCS due date moves to the day they make the subscription, or just the paypal due date?
-
I may have misunderstood this thread, but wanted to contribute... Your issue is with people creating a subscription x days after the due date, and this payment then being taken on this date.. i can see where your coming from with the "they get from due date to X free everymonth" but whats to stop me signing up with manual invoices, or worldpay, and still paying X days after the duedate each month? The only real difference is the automation, if it truly bothers you that clients get to pay X number of days after the due date and everything be hunkydory - just suspend the day after the invoice is due and charge a late fee, that way they would definatly pay on time.

They ripped more than the bottom graphic mate, the whole site is a rip. TopHeader is identical, as is the background image. Even the CSS style sheet has been ripped, exactly the same code style and code as thegridlayer one. http://www.aushosts.com.au/styles/screen.css contains exactly hte same code as http://www.thegridlayer.com/styles/screen.css with only a few additions. You should demand a refund bud, it seems like this company are rip off artists.
-
Nothing wrong with a little no, but nicking someones layout, images (not even renaming them) and just putting your own content in the middle? Id they theres something wrong with that
-
Looks almost identical to http://www.thegridlayer.com and youve reused their graphics (contentContainer_footer.jpg and background for example). I dont mean to be harsh but lots of people will criticise you for ripping other peoples designs, especially a company as popular as layeredtech. Your integration is not bad, but try and come up with an original design Carl

I really like that. The Tabs at the top do make a really functional way of naviating the client area. Nice to something a bit more original than simple header and footer changes Good work mate

Not very specific were they

I really don't know pal, i get it on XP and Vista, but not on Ubuntu. http://www.carlbembridge.com/screen3.jpg (just so you know im not winding you up pal!) I'm really confused, not seen anything like this before... It could be a server issue? How much php code do you have on that page? It almost seems like its hanging just before it finishes parsing the list. For simple experiments sake, look at this piece of code - <table width="*" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="float:left;"> I dont know what the * is for in table width, you could try changing that?

Firefox 2.0.0.7, windows Vista at 1440 x 900. I cant spot anything that would make it happen, the code seems fine... Ill try it on my Laptop, see what appears on there.

Im using Windows Ill see if i can spot anything in your code

There seems to be a layout problem in Firefox - For some reason (i havent looked at the code) the menu is breaking.
