  1. It's ok, I have just seen you can add a Client File via Admin, never noticed that before!
  2. We want to be able to store our client contracts in WHMCS so that a client can login into their client area and see their contract documents for the download. Is there a way of doing this? Is there an add-on that allows this or can something be configured for a product?
  3. Why has this been moved to 'Feedback' - I am looking for urgent help with this problem?
  4. Hi, I sent an urgent ticket via the support system over 24 hours ago but have not had any response so posting our issue here. We moved our VPS to another datacentre, the server configuration was unchanged apart from the server IP. All necessary changes were made to update the API restricted IPs and third party vendors for the various modules for domain registrations, payment providers etc. All firewall permissions have been checked. However, our credit/debit card payments are not working. We use the Secpay/Paypoint module. We have spoken with Paypoint who have confirmed nothing is being blocked their end and cannot see any traffic from our server, which would indicate that the module is not communicating beyond the server. How can we debug this issue? We have viewed the gateway log in WHMCS but the only narrative displayed is 'declined' for all the card payments and no other data about the problem.
  5. Hi, Does anyone have any issues with the domain sync with Resellerclub? It doesn't appear to be working from me. I have submitted a support ticket but response has been slow so thought I would post here for a quicker response perhaps. Cheers
  6. Hi, I have recently started using ResellerClub for domain registrations In the Settings on the ResellerClub control panel this message appears about the API "We will deprecate the SOAP API shortly. Please switch to our simple, powerful and flexible HTTP API. Learn more about the HTTP API" I see RC supply an API key but cannot see anywhere in WHMCS to use this. Is this a new security feature which WHMCS is yet to use, will WHMCS module still work ok once the SOAP API goes? Cheers Neil
  7. We have upgraded 5.1.2 > 5.1.3 patch, the system now says version is 5.1.3 however next to the version number it says 'An update is available' .....confused! Anyone else see this also?
  8. I think what also didn't help was that the connection to whmcs.com and the go.whmcs.com sites failed (and it wasn't my internet connection) when I originally tried to visit the url specified for the patch. So I was thinking something odd may have been going! Guess, it's just a twitchy time at the moment!
  9. Thanks Frank, I have never received an email from whmcscom@whmcs.whmcs.com in the past and I have been using WHMCS for 5 year+ It was of particular notice to me as I have a rule set in my email client to move emails from WHMCS to my WHMCS folder however this one did not and since recent events its odd that with all the speculation about spam emails people are now getting I should receive this and it not get redirected by my mail rule. Thanks for clarifying anyhow
  10. Hi, Considering recent events, is the security patch released today, genuine? If there has been some social engineering going on then who is to say that the email and forum post from Matt is genuine. The email I received about the update was sent from whmcscom@whmcs.whmcs.com which seems an odd and scammy email address.
  11. Hi Chris, Why would automated payments anger customers? WHMCS sends invoices and notices in advance indicating payments will be taken automatically if paying by card. I would have thought this would be more convenient for customers, it certainly is for ours. On signup customers have option in WHMCS for card to be stored for future use or not, so the customer does have control. FYI - We use Paypoint as our payment gateway, the only issue we have is when people want to update card details without making a payment as this is not possible (as the cv2 number needs to be verified on a transaction and as you are not allowed to store that number automated payments would fail anyhow when invoice payment time comes around) so if customer needs to update details they need to pay their next invoice manually before the automated system tries to take payment on the due date. This is the only pain for our customers which we are now looking at ways for them to able to update card details without making payment. I think Sagepay tokenised system would do the job, but need to find out if the WHMCS Sagepay modules support it. Cheers Neil
  12. No we are a Nominet tag holder, I had heard that IPSTAG was being ditched and that coupled with a customer ticket on 4th May, saying only had an auth code, I added 2 and 2 together and got 5 so we have told client to use our tag as normal On a seperate note regarding the updated Nominet module, we are getting 'Command Syntax Error' on renewals, anyone else still getting this? I hav sent a support ticket in so hopefully get a fix soon.
  13. A customer has just sent us a transfer order with an authorisation code for a .uk domain so how do we process this via WHMCS Nominet module Cheers Neil
  14. Hi, Interested in buying some of your modules yet your https urls do not appear to be working. This message appears ---- Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to http://www.hostthebest.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) ----
  15. Thanks John, this is something we are considering. Our invoice terms are 7 days, so unless we can set a different payment term on a per client basis, say 14 or 21 days for DD clients. Also we need a way of generating a report in a format that we can submit directly to BACS and then a method of importing results to flag items as paid and renew accounts / domains automatically. I would assume this will need custom development? Cheers Neil
  16. Does anyone have a working solution in place using Direct Debit payments with WHMCS. We are trying to figure out how best to manage this alongside payment methods we already offer such as recurring card payments and Paypal. Cheers Neil
  17. Bump Anything happen further with this?
  18. Hi Suhail, We have our own internet merchant account, so I am not in position to say whether the module is FastTrack compatible or not. Send an email to WHMCS support and they will let you know. Be interested to know the answer, so when you get one, post the reply here. Cheers Neil
  19. Matt made the necessary changes to the Secpay module as suggested by Secpay and recurring payments are working fine once again Thanks to Matt for great support once again!
  20. I have now had a further response from Secpay: ### Hello Neil, Repeat transactions created by calls to our repeatCardFull methods are indeed exempt from this requirement; or rather, they will assume that the CV2 check from the original transaction still holds good. If you are making repeat transactions by calling our validateCardFull methods, you will need to flag them as repeats in order that we can exempt them. The necessary flags are; usage_type=R,repeat=true These should be added to the comma separated options string (the last parameter in calls to validateCardFull). Regards, Simon. #### I have sent a support ticket to WHMCS requesting an update to the Secpay module in some way. Cheers Neil
  21. Secpay have said this: "Looking in our logs, I see that several of your transactions have been rejected with error P:V or P:E. P:E means that the expiry date is invalid; in the past for example. P:V refers to the lack of CV2 in the transaction request. Subsequent to the recent CSC Mandate from Visa, there is now a default requirement for this parameter (the 3 digit security code from the back of the card) to be included; I recommend that you make it a required field on your payment card details capture page." Does this mean now that using the SecPay module no longer allows us to capture recurring payments? I was under the impression that recurring payments were exempt from the new Visa CSC mandate. I read this about the new mandate: #### With a new VISA mandate coming into effect from 1st June 2009 that requires that the CSC* be provided with all Visa eCommerce transactions (online only), it's time to make sure your e-commerce is up to date and coplies with any legal requirements. By doing this you will enhance security to your customers and reduce the risk of being fined. *CSC - Card security code, also referred to as CV2, CVV and CAVV - these are the three digits on the rear of the card (four digits if Amex) There are a number of exemptions to the new VISA mandate, these are listed below: * - Recurring and Instalment Payments (scheduled transactions) * - Hotels/Lodging * - Car Hire * - Delayed or Amended T&E Charges * - Travel and Entertainment deferred or amended charges * - Health Care Incidental Expenses * - Account on file CNP transactions (repeat transactions) * - Split Sales * - Business Travel Agents * - Mail Order Transactions ######
  22. Hello, Recently we seem to be getting a lot of card declineds on recurring payments using SecPay (Paypoint). We when look in our transaction report at Secpay no transactions are recorded for the card declineds when normally you would expect to see a failed transaction as a red line item on the reports. We have logged a support ticket with Secpay, in meantime has anyone any clues? Cheers Neil
  23. This is issue is completely related to cookies, we have a few incidents recently where clients have said they are not able to checkout... basically because their cart is empty. In Internet Explorer 7 > Tools > Internet Options > Privacy - if settings in user's browser are higher than 'Medium High' then they will not be able to checkout as the cart will empty. In Firefox 3 > Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies, If user's settings show 'Accept Cookies from Site' as unchecked then the user will not be able to checkout as the cart will be empty. I assume similar settings in earlier browsers will produce the same results. Hope this helps. How can we get around this issue as it is difficult to know how many potential new clients we are losing because they are not able to checkout? Cheers Neil
