brian, I removed the domain ordering options like you suggested but the problem is that when my customers eventually want to upgrade their free hosting to premium hosting with domain name how will they be able to register a domain at that point?

brian!, I know that I can offer hosting with the standard domain registration options in the order form without the subdomain option appearing. What template or file do I need to edit to offer free hosting without those domain registration options but while only showing the subdomain selection option? thanks

I'd like to offer free hosting and I need the subdomain selection box to be displayed on the order form in order for whmcs to automatically create the account. However, I do not want to display the regular domain registration options 'register new, transfer and select nameserver'. I have tried to disable the 'require a domain selection' option but then whmcs gives an error when trying to automatically set up the account. Also, since I'm going to offer free hosting I'd like the payment section to not be displayed in the order form. Please help, thanks.

Ok got it. Yes I am using cpanel with the piping method. I forgot to change permissions after my last update and had no email working for a couple of days until I ran into the solution on some page. This point should really be highlighted in the upgrade tutorial page though. thanks

Do we always have to change permissions of cron.php to 777 after each update?

BTW, I downloaded the 5.1.3 patch and simply uploaded the dbconnect file and modules folder to my whmcs install directory and replaced all with the new files. It said no upgrade necessary so why did it mess things up?

What is the deal with the 5.1.3 patch?? I patched my 5.1.2 with it and now my whmcs admin home screen does not display any of the info panels and just shows the version information and the payment modules have stopped working for me! When I go to the setup, payment modules page, I see the paypal entries but no way to modify or activate or anything. Great job guys! How do I fix this?
