  1. Yeah I saw that the other day. But got no interest in it. It'll just be like using my phone (sgs 2 soon to be s3) but with the pi it's just like a Linux server. I got a basic web server setup on it with MySQL. It hosted a install of vBulletin fine. I purely got the pi to fiddle with and see what it'll let me do and so far pretty impressed for £30. I got another on the way soon as I stupidly ordered one from farnell and another from rs. Didn't expect both to be delivered so soon. So I'm going to give the second one to my brother so he can learn some stuff. As he shows a real interest in it all. Anyway the pi isn't meant for what we use it A pc for. It's a cheap pc to get kids to learn to program. So my 2nd one will be doing just that .
  2. Yes they may not be the most powerful machine in the world but for £30 why not get one? I have no real use for it but i can mess around with it add a breadboard and hook things up and and see how much it'll let me do .
  3. Hey , Well I see this forum is not for WHMCS stuff so.... Anyone got, waiting or interested in getting a RasPi? I ordered one from Farnell on release day and it was finally shipped today!
  4. Apparently so. But no one really knows anyhthing at the moment.
  5. But our best bet is to wait and see what happens. Once everything's sorted I'm sure WHMCS will post a summary.
  6. They impersonated him on host gators live chat. It's something like that. I'm on my iPad ATM so don't have the download to hand. But it shows the chat transcript of matt and the host gator live help person. It seems host gator took their time shutting the server off.
  7. +1 here. Im with you all the way. Best of luck with sorting everything out and keep calm. You make a great product, IoxHost wouldn't be able to provide our services without you guys. Me and Dan are with you all the way and won't leave you. Ignore the horrible remarks from some customers. Your doing a great job!
  8. http://paste.re/409.html Report to their host. Can't see report or contact link.
  9. They've uploaded it again. I've reported paste in again. Others need to too.
  10. I just had a read on http://whmcs-hacker.soup.io/ and twitter. I doubt he's going to be very happy. They've already arrested him once in a similar matter. So they know who he is. Fingers crossed they arrest the f*cker! And charge him .
  11. Fellow fan boy replying... It takes a matter of minutes to change passwords and call up the bank. Yes i understand there are problems with recurring billing and such with bills. You will just have to contact them and explain what’s happened and even provide links or such to WHMCS. You’re saying your time is expensive. So you’re moaning about the whole process of changing details to PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS! Your business sounds great. But I’d put in endless amounts of time to protect my customers. Taking a few minutes to change a password and contact the bank hardly seems like I’ve wasted time. If anything it's just a bit of a pain. I don’t know about where other people live, but in the UK you phone up the bank for a new card and it's sent out to you within 7 days. Sometimes quicker. I'm quite shocked to be honest. Considering WHMCS is for web hosting businesses. Some of your replies scare me into thinking you may be in control of someone's website. Yes WHMCS ****ed up. But we all make mistakes. Yes WHMCS ****ed up in the past too. But these things happen. Websites are hacked all the time. It's only when a big known website gets hacked everyone fly’s off the handle about it. Yes our details are public and WHMCS should have had better security practices in place to prevent such occurrences. But it's a bit too late to moan about it now, it's happened. Just change your passwords and contact the bank. There is nothing else we can really do now. Also bear in mind how the WHMCS team must be feeling? They are going to have to deal with so much **** in the coming days/weeks. How would you feel if your server got hacked and your customer’s details exposed. Imagine how you would feel if your customers just turned on you and made the situation harder for yourselves. Just give them time to sort things and things will be ok. (No I’m not being paid by WHMCS I’m just being realistic about this, no need for everyone to go off on one because of this)
  12. Yes we all understand that. Ultimatly i'm not happy about the security practices WHMCS took. But what's done is done. We can't get back the information they stole. Yes we are going to be pissed and it's not going to look good at all. But aslong as we change our security details and contact our bank things shouldn't be took bad. I think they'll learn and they are very quickly going to upgrade their security. Just give them time. Matt and the team are probably feeling very sh*t at the moment. I can't even begin to imagine how they must be feeling.
  13. Exactly! WHMCS have already stated they got access from their host. Not through any loophole or exploit within the WHMCS software. Throughout the situation most of you still used WHMCS and it worked fine. A couple of you had problems with the license checker so were locked out a while. But your client area still functioned. So you was still able to take payments, orders and such. Yes your security and card details where accessed but as long as you changed them like most of us already have there isn't much the hackers can do. apart from send us spam and attempt to gain access to our servers. Give Matt a break. Let him finish what he has to do. Harassing him for refunds and compensation will get you nowhere.
  14. leakster.net was using 000webhost.com ns01.000webhost.com ns02.000webhost.com ugnazi.com was using hostgator ns3591.hostgator.com ns3592.hostgator.com I just had a look at archived DNS info. Although not entirely reliable as they could of changed host. But best i could find.
  15. Already offline . Seems hackers like cloudflare!
