  1. UPDATE: The WHMCS Integration and Importer is now complete! All those WHMCS users who want to have DemoWolf tutorials seamlessly integrated into their WHMCS system, we now have 2 scripts available to you... an integration script and an importer script. Integration Script: This option will create a Video Tutorials section in your main WHMCS page, that when clicked, will take your viewers directly to a page dedicated to displaying your tutorials. It is integrated with WHMCS so that the look/feel matches the look/feel of your WHMCS pages. Importer Script: In addition, WHMCS users who are DemoWolf clients can also choose to use the new WHMCS Importer. What it does is imports all your DemoWolf tutorials (which could be thousands!) and creates a knowledgebase article for each one. It also creates a knowledegebase article for each tutorial series. It also allows you to edit each article and include your own text along with the tutorial(s). These scripts are available for free to all DemoWolf customers, whether you're a purchaser of our tutorials or subscribe to our tutorial service. Even past DemoWolf clients have access to these new scripts.... but will have to contact us to get added to our new system before getting the access (the scripts are only available from within the new system). More complete information, go to; http://www.demowolf.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=177 If you have any questions, or think anything could be done to improve these, just let me know. Regards, Rob.
  2. Ok, yes I know about the cookie... that's great. 90 days is fine. I'm assuming that's for people who are not yet clients. What I'm wondering though, is if an existing client purchases after 90 days... in other words, he's already a registered client. Does that mean any time he buys something else in the future, it will get credited to the original affiliate? In other words, is there anything in WHMCS that remembers who a client's original affiliate was? If not, that's fine... I just want to know for sure so I can properly document it in our affiliate terms. Thanks in advance!
  3. Ok, so I've got a "free trial" product setup, and of course several paid products. When a new client visits our website through an affiliate's link, I understand the affiliate will be credited with the sale if the new client buys something. What if the client gets our free trial product? Obviously there would be no commissions earned by the affiliate since no money changed hands.... but what if the new client returns a few days later and upgrades to a paid product. Will the affiliate be credited with the upgrade purchase? I'm assuming the answer to the above is yes, since the affiliate cookie should remain on the new clients computer for 90 days... but what if he returns a year later and purchases something else? Will the affiliate earn a commission? Will the affiliate earn a commission on anything a referred client purchases in the future? Thanks in advance for helping me understand how this works
  4. I want to get some input from the WHMCS community... those of you who offer Flash tutorials as a means of support to your customers. We've been working hard the last few months on a completely new Tutorial Delivery System making it as easy as possible to integrate our DemoWolf tutorials into your website... with minimal work on your end. The new system was launched late last week, and is heavily integrated with WHMCS as our new billing, knowledgebase and support system. The NEXT PHASE will be creating a new integration option for WHMCS. That is, after generating your tutorials (adding your logo to them), instead of creating your own web pages for the tutorials or even building a tutorials page for WHMCS, we'll have the following options: 1. Automatically generate a tutorials page with all tutorial links pre-built, based on the tutorials you have; 2. Create an importer, so you'll be able to import your tutorials into WHMCS... each tutorial being it's own article; 3. Create an importer, so you'll be able to import your tutorials into WHMCS... each tutorial series being it's own article. With these options, we plan on integrating the "ColorBox" we use on our website and which is available in our Tutorial Viewer.... and have it so it's integrated with WHMCS as well. In fact, all options we have for our Tutorial Viewer, we plan on having those available from within the WHMCS knowledgebase as well. You can see these options here: http://www.demowolf.com/tutorial-viewers.php More information on the new system can be found here: http://www.demowolf.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=159 ANYWAYS... what I want to know from you, is are we on the right track with the WHMCS integration? Are there other options you want to see included? How do you ideally want to be able to integrate your Flash tutorials with your WHMCS knowledgebase? Any/all suggestions welcome. Regards, Rob.
  5. Thanks Matt... this is great news
  6. Another vote here for the multiple connection feature request... to allow me to either run 2 copies of iWHMCS, or 1 copy that allows me to switch between 2 WHMCS installs. Would be awesome!! Rob.
  7. Hi Bucket, These source files are not available to the public. We don't provide the source files for these, because the service we provide is in putting your logo in the first and last frames for you. The source files are our property as we are the original producers of these demos. If you want these demos with your logo, then you need to order them. I hope that helps. If you have any questions about this, let me know. Rob.
  8. Yes I did, and I love it! We're actually going to be implementing some "nested accordions" in our new website design. Cheers.
  9. Hey looks good ... and we'd be happy to have your business I really like the lightbox you're using... however, for your 123Cart tutorials that are already setup, the control within the SWF doesn't seem to work for me. The play/pause buttons and ability to drag the player bar doesn't work. Any ideas? Rob.
  10. Your link is no longer working... now requires login to view the tutorials...
  11. After seeing what Andy came up with here: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=9605 ... I'd be interested in seeing what other creative ways WHMCS users have used to display their tutorials. Do you all make them available from within WHMCS? Within the knowledgebase? Or from another HTML page? Show me examples Rob.
  12. Can we have a link to see your tutorials in WHMCS?
  13. To do this, I think you need some sort of "automatic forwarder" in place on that knowledgebase article's page, so that visitors would automatically be redirected to the tutorial when they click through to that page. I'm not sure if that's possible though.... perhaps Matt or someone else more familiar with how the knowledgebase works can suggest how it can be done. Personally though, I think the flash tutorials are best "linked-to" from knowledgebase articles.... and used more as "supporting videos". For direct links to the tutorials, customers can use the "Flash Tutorials" icon/link in the main WHMCS page.... presuming you have the tutorials.tpl file setup. Does this help? Rob.
  14. Hey Paul.... I really like the Flash intro you've got at the top of your home page. I may be looking at doing something similar with our website. Is that something you did yourself? Or did you hire someone to do it for you? Rob.
  15. We use DemoBuilder to create all the tutorials we sell, and swear by it. I suppose whatever program you use, you'll get good at it if you use it enough.... but for us DemoBuilder beats them all Rob.
  16. I like the look Paul... good job Rob.
  17. Hi folks..... Rob here from DemoWolf. Just wanted to clarify a few things: 1. We expect to add new Outlook 2007 tutorials to our Email series sometime in June 2007. Once we do, anyone who purchased our Email series within the previous 12 months will receive the added tutorial for free, on account of our "version guarantee". All DemoWolf customers (and anyone on our mailing list) will receive an email notification once these new tutorials are released. So if you do purchase any of our email series now, you'll get the Outlook 2007 tutorial for free when available. 2. Anyone who purchased our Email series longer than 12 months ago, cannot get the new tutorials for free, but have a couple options: a) You can buy the one tutorial for $5.95 (or $14.95 for voice version), or b) You can buy the complete series again at 50% off (if for example, you have a new logo and want all tutorials in the series redone with your new logo). 3. Anyone who purchased tutorials through WHMCS prior to May 22nd, OR anyone who purchased tutorials from any other supplier and is now interested in the new DemoWolf tutorials, may be eligible for our 50% off tradein discount. Feel free to contact us for details, or see demowolf.com/tradein.htm 4. All WHMCS customers are entitled to 5% discount on our tutorial sets due to our partnership so be sure to place your order through WHMCS at http://www.whmcs.com/flashtutorials.php or mention you are a WHMCS customer when placing your order directly on our site to receive the discount! I hope this helps Rob.
