  1. ok thanks. I'll give it a go in the morning and share on here if it works. If it works with WordPress, there's no reason it wouldn't work with Joomla
  2. Is it possible to show WHMCS pages on the main site. For example, I have a WordPress site as my main site and then WHMCS as a folder: Main Website http://www.moonworks.co.uk WHMCS http://www.moonworks.co.uk/members Can I call pages into the WordPress site using the codse below? <?php define("CLIENTAREA",true); require("whmcs/dbconnect.php"); require("whmcs/includes/functions.php"); require("whmcs/includes/clientareafunctions.php"); // My code here ?> This is code I found elsewhere, and just thought that this would solve many problems as, although I have both site & WHMCS looking the same, it would be good to have the user stick to just the main site as often as possible, mainly to make things easier for them. Thanks.
  3. Is there a way to make test purchases via NetEarthOne?
  4. When I try to make a test purchase, it gives me a page saying that it is redirecting to Paypal, it stays on there for a little bit, then it loads in the knowledgebase page. Anybody have any ideas on what could be causing the problem?
  5. I'm having trouble with the Heart Internet module. I've set everything up as it should be set up, but I get the following error whenever I try to set up a hosting account: Module Create Failed - Service ID: 54 - Error: Caught exception: Invalid username, should look like '9cf2cdbcce5e00c0' The username I have is 16 characters long and Heart Internet say that it should be correct.
  6. Thanks, it is all a bit confusing, but at least I'm getting there now
  7. Hi all. I'm trying to figure out using the HeartInternet module. When setting up a server, it only asks the ID of the hosting package, but reading around, I see mentions of having to add the Heart Internet authcode. I've got my authcode, but have no idea where to add it. Right now, I'm just using the HeartInternet module that is within WHMCS already. Am I supposed to download anything extra and, if so, where do I find that? Thanks, Joe
  8. That 'gift' from China is costing £1 million a year, so they need the donations, but you are right, not exactly voluntary, as many people don't look at these things properly. Knowing how the British Parliament is about getting European law out there, I would expect something about this within a matter of a few months. An example about how this is a good law, is the way Godaddy tell you how cheap a .com is, then you are automatically accepting 2 years, though the price was for 1 year. This law wouldn't affect me, as I'm aiming at writers (books/short stories), and because so many of them don't understand jargon, everything is set out in plain English and nothing hidden away anywhere.
  9. Instead of calling my WHMCS 'Clients' or 'Billing', I called it 'Members', that way people sign up as a member ands if they want to buy something they can do so from the member's area, and if somebody just wants to be an affiliate, they can do so without feeling that they are having to buy anything.
  10. I sent an email, but to the wrong email I think, so probably easier to put it here. I’ve seen your affiliate coupons module, and have tried to install it a few times, but it doesn’t show up in my addons list and, when I do a search for ‘affiliates’ in that section, it comes up, but instead of saying ‘Installed Not Active’, it is saying ‘Unable To Determine Status’. I was hoping that this may have been soemthing you had come across before, and may know the solution to the problem.
  11. Hi everybody, I'm trying to work out a way to bring in the affiliate code to a page that is not affiliates.php. What I'm doing, is creating custom pages for different banner sizes, so a user can go to a single page to find, for example, all the text ads or 468x60px banners. I'm adding the usual affiliate code into the page - [AffiliateLinkCode] - but I don't know what to do to call in the correct information from the database to replace that with the actual affiliate code for each user. This is the reply that I received from WHMCS support, but it makes no sense to me (something I need to learn): Can anybody tell me what I would need to add to the php/tbl files to make this work please? Once I get this figured out, I'll thank the community by putting together the files and releasing them for all to use, as I think this isd a good way to make things easier for our affiliates. Thanks, Joe
