  1. I was just thinking of this. It seems like most of the notifications that would need to be broadcasted would be admin related but I could see also that customers could get their boxcar messages of like specials and whatnot. Ok just typing this out I can see that there could potentially be a use for this that could generate more revenue. It is on my if time to do list now too...
  2. Personally I haven't even considered downloading it yet. I am with many in that I will wait for at least a few weeks till upgrading... Though apparently whmcs.com isn't upgrading yet either... http://whmcs.com/ vs. http://www.whmcs.com/ lol
  3. Subscribing for updates. Anyone put in a ticket yet for this or just posting here?
  4. In the admin in the v4 template I had the following happen. Its really not a functional issue at all to be honest. My computer sat logged in all day while I was away and when I came back the first thing I did was started using the intelligent search. In the ajax request that responded I was presented with a broken looking login screen where my results should have been if my session was active. It looked more silly than anything but was odd none the less.
  5. It is with great pleasure that I am releasing version 2 of the Auto Client Notes script. This once simple and single faceted note generator is now pulling all notes related to a specific ticket based on how the user selects the related package. Simply upload the file to the /includes/hooks/ folder and update the admin id as noted in the file. auto_client_notes_v2.0.zip
  6. Orders and products are one thing. I think that going so far as notes from other tickets that potentially have nothing to do with the current ticket could be a bit much.
  7. At current it only grabs the client notes. Modifying it to do product notes shouldn't be too much of a task. Doing logged notes targetted with person and date as you suggest might be something to look into in the future. Product notes now. I'll try to tweak that in the next few days. Good idea.
  8. Hello Nick. I am curious what you have found with the usage of this. Are there any improvements you would look for that I might be able to implement? I have a plan for a larger and much cooler addon but I want to get a feel for how well this smaller one is received. Thanks
  9. Agree with breckburgess Support at WHMCS is great...responsive, courteous and efficient usually
  10. Right... Duh. My bad. Put it in /includes/hooks That's it. Then just wait for the first ticket to come in. Of course you need to have something in the admin notes on that client for it to actually do anything. Otherwise it won't do anything.
  11. Hello all, This is my first contribution of a whmcs addon. It is quite simple in its usage but it can save time again and again when answering tickets. The basic functionality of this hook is that when a ticket is opened the admin notes from the client are added to the top of a ticket as a note. I welcome any questions or comments on this. auto_client_notes_v1.0.zip
  12. So I found this bookmark hiding in my iPad and was curious if you had released the extended invoices pubicly as of yet. Thank you.
  13. Having only been using SVN at work for a couple months I would not consider myself an expert at all on this but to me it feels like there should be a different version number for each patch released. As it stands with the version number staying the same the smaller hosts or even larger ones perhaps that do not check the forums would never be alerted of bug fixes as the version number stays the same on the left of the admin homepage. Just typing aloud but I think the version numbering patterns could use a potential revision to better keep confusion to a minimum. On the flip side if the version numbering did keep bumping up with ever bug fix release then people could get annoyed with "Didn't I just update 2 days ago?"
  14. Are you trying to say that if you setup, for example, a 100% off promo code and then expire the code in say 4 months the packages that were setup on that promo code do not get set back up to full price? If so that is not a bug. You need to set the number of times a promo can recur. That is the only way to auto reset the price of a plan after the promotional period has finished. The expiration is only when you can no longer use it during the order process. If this is not your issue please post more details so the community and staff can investigate and advise further.
  15. We have a cloud platform (ONAPP) hooked in with our whmcs and one of the concerns that we have is the auto terminate functions set into the cron. When onapp terminates a virtual machine it also deletes the backups and we don't want to get stuck in a hard place of an accidential delete. Does anyone know of how we could set something up so that the onapp products only do not auto terminate just in case it happens by mistake. Of course we still want our normal shared/reseller accounts to terminate so not sure how we could handle that. Thanks for any suggestions. Excited for 4.5!!!
